Great service, delicious food, and great sunset views. Would recommend for a romantic evening.
This was our second time on the Princess Yacht and its always a great time with good food and drinks.
The time on the app is WRONG. We CONFIRMED this morning for 6:30pm. Walked on the dock at 6:15pm to see the boat sailing away without us.
Learned from hotel front desk that you should board at 5;30pm.
Worse than that hotel staff does not care at all.
FYI we were never given a choice of food. There was no crackers or cheeses put out. We were served a small salad, a piece of bread, then we were given a preplated dinner with a couple of filet medallions, a couple pieces of fish (not sure what kind, I don't eat seafood, and my girlfriend had no idea what it was) there was potato's and asparagus served as sides; then finally the only choice we were given for our sunset dinner cruise was a choice of desert between some chocolate fudge, cheesecake, and key lime pie.
The food tasted decent but it was not what is advertised on the menu.
Nothing like being served seafood when you didn't request it, and also dislike it.
If we knew about this menu change we probabily wouldn't have made a reservation, nor booked the resort we stayed at for an extra day to explore Sanibel towards the end of our vacation.
The yacht captain and staff were great however.
Great food. Alcoholic drinks are on the pricier end but the ambiance is beautiful and food is great. Had a wonderful time .
We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the staff did a great job making us feel special
Overall great experience. Friendly crew/staff. Smooth ride! Never felt too close to anyone! Overall a wonderful family evening!
Its worth it for the dinner and the view. The yacht it self was pretty dated and had a funny smell to it like an old condo that has stood vacant all summer. Drinks were good and so was the service dinner was ok for a dinner on a boat. Hope this helps.
We took this little dinner cruise for my daughter's girls trip for her up coming wedding. We all enjoyed it a lot, except for the food. My daughter has to be gluten free and my husband called and talked to the chef (at least that was what he was told) and had it squared away (so we thought). Once on the boat, all 3 people doing the dining service had NO idea she had to be gluten free and really didn't know if any of the seasonings/sauces were ok for her. I SO wish that restaurants would educate themselves on different allergies. There are so many out there that they should KNOW and educate their servers about. Just mark the menus--but in this case there was no menu, it was supposed to be a buffet, but due to covid19 it had to be a pre-plated dinner--which was ok, but just ok. The "chef" went overboard with the cracked pepper on everything and I had to rake it off, I am also allergic to bell peppers and paprika, both were all over the fish--I could not eat it. My daughter could only eat the inside of her prime rib (not knowing if the seasoning on the outside was gluten free or not), and we were Not given a steak knife--we asked for one and he came back and said he had found 3 (we were a group of 8). You cannot cut prime rib with a butter knife--just not happening. The crew (3 food servers) made us feel welcome, but I wasn't impressed, they acted like they had no clue about stuff. The sunset was beautiful and it helped take away some of the negatives before hand. I only recommend this cruise as a calm, see the sunset cruise--the food was not that good but the scenery made up for it.
Food was mediocre & no appetizers. Menus chafed cause of virus but not indicated when making reservation. Cruise was beautiful & staff really nice but don’t go for the food as it is nothing special.
Very hot needs better AC.
Food was horrible and over priced. Dinner was boiled carrots and overcooked fish/roast beef. Items shown on the menu when I booked weren’t available.
The menu wasn’t updated online so we thought we were getting what it said on the site but we didn’t. They served prime rib and we don’t eat red meat. They didn’t have any other options. They should update their menu so guests can know what to expect. It was very expensive and we ended up eating afterwards. The view was amazing and the staff were friendly and polite.
A most enjoyable two hour cruise into the Gulf of Mexico as we dined with friends on a delicious and superbly prepared and presented Sunday Brunch. Most definitely a trip to remember and a luxurious way to spend two hours. Food selection was wide/varied and very fresh and delicious! Highly recommend if you are in the area to try it. just know the boat adds 24% gratuity to your bill, along w/tax, which likely is due to the boat ride (food bills typically are not taxed here).
We enjoyed our sunset dinner cruise very much. The food and service was great. We took our children ages 11-19 and we all loved it. Would recommend!
