Sangiovese Ristorante was founded in 1994 bringing authentic Italian to Indianapolis' North Side. Chris Evans, Owner/Operator of Sangiovese, has maintained dedication to his loyal clientele by providing the highest quality ingredients and impeccable service. Sangiovese works toward letting guests sit back and enjoy a great bowl of pasta with a nice glass of Vino!

                                                                          The restaurant is very dark, so it's difficult to see the menu. The service was slow, took almost 20 minutes to get our drinks. The food was good, but not exceptional. The wine was excellent and our server was very knowledgeable about the wines.

From the moment we walked in, the manager warmly greeted us, and Oliver provided outstanding service throughout our meal. The staff is always attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The food is consistently authentic and delicious—every dish tastes like it’s made with care and tradition. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, perfect for family gatherings or a relaxed night out. We appreciate the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality that keep us returning.                                                                           Kennedy provided amazing service and the food was OUTSTANDING, as per usual. I had my order ready until she told us the Specials, and the Halibut had 4 of 6 in our party SOLD. Did not disappoint! What an amazing dinner, in the perfect atmosphere ❤️
