   Great food and great service. Had dinner around 7:30 on a Saturday. It was a little to loud and fairly dark for my taste. I little expensive as well. All-in-all seems more like a better fit for lunch.

   Beach bar - right on the ocean - feet in the sand. Lobster rolls were fine but the martini was a tad watery. We were seated at 7:30 directly under one of several speakers blasting LOUD rap to a half-mile of shoreline. By 8:00, the style of music mellowed a bit but the volume didn’t diminish. We did sort of get used to it and the view of the ocean and grey sky blending into one as the light fell was worth it. Service was friendly and prompt.

   Came here 4 times in one week with my wife it was that good. The food was excellent - make sure you get the lobster quesadilla, tuna poke tacos and the Thai curry sea bass. Service was also outstanding - Maeve and Shea are the best! Dude the table over told me he was seven mudslides deep so they must be good. Incredible view. No place in Montauk like this right in the beach!

   Nice spot on the beach but food was terrible . We Expect to pay high prices in Montauk but this was bad food. even if we paid a quarter of the price we wouldn’t go back to eat . Maybe just drinks on the water .

   The ambiance and setting is very difficult and loud but the food was an exceptional surprise - it was excellent!

   Great place- just beware when you’re making reservations- it’s only for inside. Outside (pictures shown on site) is first come first served.

   You should remove this from open table. The good thing on the water. Thats it. Sloppy eating area. You sit right outside rooms. But the food wasn’t edible. Ravioli swimming in a watery butter sauce on a plastic plate. Lobster tacos that should be thrown back in the ocean. A burger McDonalds wouldn’t sell Overpriced drinks. We spent over 150 fir two you don’t want to eT here. Many other wonderful places in MTK. Been coming for 25 years this was the worst EVER

   My family of 5 arrived for our reservation to what appeared like a frat party. Several drunk 20-somethings seated and coming in and out, being extremely loud. The waitress seemed very overwhelmed. I asked for the espresso martini listed on the menu and was told the bar was not manned so we could only order canned drinks from the outside pool bar. A short time later, the girl who seated us was serving shots to a group of frat guys from the bar I was told was closed. Even my kids who are 14,11 and 7 felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave. But seeing it was July 4 at 7:30 we knew we would not get into another restaurant. In all fairness, my husband loved his soup and pasta. I had an ok burger. Such a shame because it has potential to be a diamond in the rough.

    Such a wonderful experience, the set up is beautiful, the food is excellent (recommend the linguini and chicken!) and the service was as good as it gets! Check out Sandbar next time you’re in Montauk, you won’t be disappointed!
