   We had an incredible experience at this new spot! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what truly made our visit stand out was the exceptional service from Reuben and David, they were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing. The fettuccine was rich and flavorful, and the tuna crudo was a standout, fresh, light, and beautifully balanced. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

   Stunning interior and classy atmosphere! I felt like I was in a vibey New York spot. Amazing service. Our server Peony was amazing at explaining the menu and very educated on the cooking process behind each dish. Was a pleasure having her as our server.

   Sammarco, Toronto's newest fine dining experience has landed beautifully! It is the latest from Rob Rossi and David Minicucci who have brought us Giulietta, and Osteria Giulia. This restaurant offers an immaculate modern renaissance dining space that is spacious and bright, along with a sumptuous private dining room. The welcoming and expert staff immediately made us feel at home. Once seated comfortably, We were offered a wide selection of cocktails. I chose the Negroni Bianco, which was crisp, and refreshing with the perfect balance of bitter and sweet. My companion found invigorating the Espresso Coretto, which was espresso, Dillon’s vodka, a coffee liqueur mixed and served in a long-stemmed cocktail glass. The Carne Cruda was a buttery beef tenderloin, topped with silky burratino cheese, and savoury cantabrian anchovies. The à la carte mains chosen were the 8oz beef tenderloin with sides of potatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus. These items were served family-style and provided ample portions for two. The beef was cooked to medium perfection, flavourful with a smooth peppercorn demi-glace which provided refined pizzazz. The potatoes with zabaglione and herbs were a revelation! They had a meaty texture accented by the delicate flavour of fresh crab meat. The asparagus were earthy with just the right amount of crunch and accompanied by sweet green peas and leeks. The mains was complimented well by a glass of the Barolo Bussia Amalia. For dessert we chose the Crema di Cocco, which was a coconut and kaffir lime cream pie, topped with toasted almonds, on a delicious pie crust. Like every detail of Sammarco it too was refined and perfectly balanced. Congratulations! to Michelin starred chef Rob Rossi, and his knowledgeable team for their wonderful new addition to Toronto's dining culture. It is truly a bold destination for the dinner-plus-show crowds, and for anyone who is looking for the best in Italian inspired fine-dining.

   My girlfriend and I just had the most unforgettable dinner at SAMMARCO - we are already planning our next visit. The food? Insane! I am now officially obsessed with their fettuccini - rich and perfectly made. All I can think about is the fettuccini!! The somms were incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and on point with wine pairings. The space had an awesome vibe, thoughtful details, amazing art work and an energy that made the entire evening special. What an experience! Thanks for an amazing night!
