Great place, been awhile since I have went, The kitchen is pretty much open, cooks with long hair and one with HUGE BEARD, the HAIR WAS way out like all but the ears up were covered, and all cooks that had beards including the one with a ZZTOP BEARD was not covered, serves walking in and out around the food as well Long Hair with no hair NETS WAS UNSATISFACTORY. I found it hard to eat and not Hope I wouldn’t be eating HAIR, and $150 for 2 people. Only food no alcohol is a lot and not a big deal in price. But, for the price that is charged, I would think much more attention to personal hygiene-would be high up on the rules. Beards as well hair nets should be mandatory. Other than that great time. SALTYS LETS GET THIS STUFF FIXED ASAP
Great experience food was awesome!
The Salmon special was outstanding and the crab oh the crab
Great place for a special occassion and excellant food.
Excellent, high quality, well prepared food.
Having been to the Salty's in Seattle many years ago and in search of a good seafood restaurant in the Portland area I decided on the Salty's. We were completely and thoroughly please with everything. The food was absolutely outstanding, our waiter was superb, and the ambiance/atmosphere were outstanding. We will definitely return on our next visit to Portland.
A great place for the buffet. Worth the price and I would go again
The food was great. Our server was very friendly. My only feedback would be that when my server came around it would have been nice if he picked up dishes. He clearly preferred for the person busing to do it. However for the customer experience, I’d appreciate you picking up dishes no matter who you are.
Server was polite and service was quick!
Too many delicious things to choose from! Definitely will be back
We had a wonderful experience. The waiter was great & the food was outstanding. Even the kids enjoyed their meals.
I have been to Salty’s on multiple occasions and this visit certainly did not disappoint. The food was excellent and Rachel did an excellent job guiding through this visit. You also cannot beat the view of the Columbia River. This was another great experience and I hope to visit again soon.
Love Salty’s! Went on a Monday night for the first time and the crowd was light. Had the Cioppino and it was delicious.
The service was excellent! Our thanks to Brian for being so attentive to all of our needs and then some. The food was also excellent. You pay more here than the average restaurant but you get way more than you expect! The view was really nice and the ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming and warm.
Fantastic food and wonderful service.
Absolutely amazing brunch! Very fresh seafood! Make your own Bloody Mary bar is a great idea!
The brunch and service is excellent. I love the crab.
A very nice dinner with excellent service and attention to our experience by the wait staff.
My wife’s BD
The main course fish soup we ordered was brought to the table not warm enough. While the waiter took it back and had it heated further, the restaurant should have done something to make this right. At a minimum they should have offered a free dessert but a finer restaurant would not have charged for such a gross mistake. The meal was otherwise fine.
Food, drinks, service, and ambiance were perfect. Will definitely return.
Saltys has THE best brunch in the city! The choices of tasty foods are plentiful and delicious. It is our go-to place to go for family celebrations.
Salty's is airways a good choice! The food is fantastic, and they have the best brunch in town. Great views too.
The food was amazing, there view is gorgeous and our service was excellent.
Mediocre at best. Definitely NOT worth the price tag ($55 Sunday Brunch/$65 w/bottomless mimosas). Very noisy, overcrowded, service suffered because it was so busy, food was average buffet quality, and the point of a reservation here is basically moot. My reservation is to guarantee a spot in the restaurant in general?! What’s the difference between a planned ahead phone call/ appointment and someone just walking in off the street and giving their name? Oh, nothing. Asinine.
Fabulous as always!!!!
I'm not certain if making reservations are done in order. But to make a reservation and get the back of the top floor looking at the parking lot doesn't seem to be the greatest experience. Food was good, however.
Always a fantastic time at Salty’s for brunch. It’s definitely the Best Brunch in Portland hands down. The servers are all so polite and accommodating. You just can’t go wrong here.
We had a wonderful time, The view was spectacular! We can’t wait to go back.
Our server Justin was very attentive. The omlettes were delicious. My favorite are the apple dumplings. Like the room arrangement since the last time we were there
Excellent meal as always
I've been to this establishment a number of times. The food is always good and the service is always great. Celebrated my anniversary there this year since I am familiar with the menu and knew I would be full and satisfied when leaving. I tried to get something special for the anniversary but was unsuccessful. I was told I'd at least get a window seat which I didnt. Wasn't a horrible experience by any means but celebrating my anniversary could have been a little better there.
Before I moved to the Pacific northwest, I tried to include Salty's on every trip north. Now that I live here, I'm planning to be a regular. Food and service are exemplary.
I never write reviews, but always read them. We were very happy with our experience at Salty's. We went here for New years eve and it was perfect. The food was amazing, somewhat high priced from what we are used to, but worth it. (My husband is still talking about the oysters). The atmosphere and service were great. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The hostess accommodated my request to sit by the window, which was why I made a reservation. We will definitely go here again. I want to try their brunch, so we can see the wonderful view of the river during the day, although the lights on the river were pretty spectacular as well.
The food was very good but prices are a little to high. The service was excellent
Excellent food and service
Very nice evening
Very good food, great views of the river and most importantly it's quiet enough to have a conversation.
The best brunch in Portland. Always our first pick for a special occasion. Great for kids.
