Was a bit disappointed seafood wasn’t as fresh. Overall was ok.
Not a fan of a 4% charge that is “retained by the house” - don’t even know what that means, is confusing when you still list recommended gratuities over 20% and is annoying when you already pay over $50 pp
Food was delicious, perfectly cooked and our server was a total pro!!
Would've preferred a table directly on a window, but they didn't give us one after several requests. Weird.
Chinese New Year
Overall a great experience A+++
Really good food, excellent service and great Views.
Food, service, and especially the view were all amazing
Awesome staff. Perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner for two. Thankful to the staff for making our anniversary a date night to remember.
This is a great special occasion brunch, no matter what your special occasion is.
A friend recommend Salty's to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. Service was excellent, food was amazing, and the view was incredible. We will definitely return and recommend you to family and friends!! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Always an outstanding experience at Salty’s! The weekend breakfast never disappoints.
Perfect place, perfect service with a perfect company!
Went there for a night date with my wife for her birthday. Great and attentive service. Food was excellent and the night view of Seattle's city lights provided a really good ambiance.
I was real disappointed that everything on the buffet brunch was room temperature. Literally everything. Even the crab legs. The prime rib tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer for a week and thawed that morning. The drinks, view, and service were great. Unfortunately paying almost $200 for room temperature food was a major let down.
The food was outstanding. The service was exemplary. The view was stunning. The noise level made having an intimate conversation impossible. I do not understand why people go out to a restaurant like this one and scream at one another. Salty’s does a wonderful job but I cannot justify the cost of an evening here when the experience is spoiled by the inability to have a conversation with my companion. I measured the sound level at 99dB which is louder than a lawn mower, about the same as a motorcycle. Would you pay $275 to have dinner next to a roaring motorcycle? Me neither.
Lovely "date night" oysters on the half shell dinner! The oysters and the wine were SUBLIME!!!! We enjoyed our lovely window table with the gorgeous lights of Seattle. Our date night special came with caesar salad which was over tossed and limp and lukewarm chowder (love the sherry). The whole thing was very nice but could have been spectacular had the sides been up to par.
We had a Monday night dinner with some family from out of town. The food, service, and value was amazing. We love Salty's and since we had out of town guests, this was a perfect night for a big family dinner.
This was only my second time at saltys and it has easily become my favorite restaurant! The crab is beyond fresh and the most delicious I’ve tasted. My service was beyond outstanding from Luis!! I have never had a server be so attentive and fun. It was definitely a night to remember! We will be back!!
I was disappointed in the table. We were showing the restaurant to family and had gushed over the view from the restaurant. We requested a table with a view and instead were put in a booth with part of the party facing away. It's a great restaurant, but that was the biggest disappointment coupled with a waitstaff that did not necessarily meet the expectation that the price of the meal suggested.
Luis the waiter was AMAZING! And the staff accommodated my last minute request for a window table for me and my 9 year old niece - who was experiencing her first “fancy dinner” out! It was the perfect night!
Great food. Fun experience! Not something I would do on a regular basis because of the cost, but would definitely come back for a special occasion.
Buffet a bit overpriced imo, but great for special occasion, especially if you like seafood.
Thanks for the great birthday set up!
Patrick our server was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our special requests. It was nice that the holiday decorations were still up for us to enjoy.
Food was great as always.
This was our third visit to Salty's over the last few years. Celebrated our daughter's 21 birthday, staff was fantastic!
Really great place for food and wine. It was our wedding anniversary. They made sure I got a window seat like I requested. Also they put rose petals down on our table for us and gave us a complementary dessert. It’s made our night really special.
We had an amazing time. The service was terrific, view was great (even on a dreary day) and the food was delicious. We were also celebrating a birthday and ordered the baked alaska which they prepare table side with flames and liquor. It was also delicious.
Great food and service..the brunch buffet is a must!
Been there many times. Always great food in an inviting ambience with a spectacular view.
Not the best experience. We walked in and immediately knew we made a mistake.. First off, there was a drone flying around the windows taping the people inside the restaurant. The food was being kept at unsafe temperatures (I.e the breakfast meats, egg dishes, fish, etc). Lids to the containers that would have kept contamination from occurring were left open (manager, Jordyn, saw no issue with this). There were tons of kids running around like this was a daycare center, and the food area was incredibly cramped. We ordered a carafe of POG mimosas that were not the best($39 for carafe of 3 cups of mimosa) . I don’t even think we received the correct ones, now that I think of it (says it serves 4, it absolutely does not). We got half or less a plate of food each and realized we couldn’t keep eating here. Thankfully the manager was polite enough and accepted that we just didn’t want to eat here, so I thank her for that.. but I definitely won’t be a returning customer. Palisade is far superior and has better quality food + adheres to proper food prep and containment standards. For the price people are paying for brunch at Saltys, I expected way better, or at the very least the place not look like a daycare center. Our waiter was the best part, I made sure to tip him on our way out.
Forgotten bread basket that we ordered,, entrees delivered 5 minutes after salads while still eating salads, unconvincing excuses. Fish not cooked as ordered. Dessert tasted bad. Server missing for long periods due to “side work” duties.
Celebrating New Years Day with family and friends! Great brunch!
We've visited many times but this year we by far had the best service. Ellie was awesome! Always a holiday favorite when we're visiting the Pacific Northwest.
Minimum wait time. Fast and polite service
Salty's brunch never disappoints. The food is amazing, service is outstanding, and my whole family looks forward to this rate treat. We've been here three or four times now, and we know we will be back many times ink the years too come.
The setting and views were great, we had been to Salty's various times over the past 6 years. While the cancelled fireworks put a damper on the finale of the evening at NYE we were treated very well by the waitstaff. The one negative was my wife's Linguine and Clams, the pasta came in a huge clumpy mess, it was not acceptable but my wife was so hungry (last seating) , she didn't want to return it. I don't feel we got the value we should have from that entree. Otherwise we enjoyed the time there.
No time. Seriously gonna go with annoying review software
We were greeted by the hostess who told us we had 90 min to eat. For six people. On New Years. Who planned on eating and drinking with no issues of paying for anything. I get it, it’s NYE and you need to turn tables to capitalize on the night. Fine. But to be greeted that way...I think it could have been handled differently and more discreetly, as that was quite embarrassing to the person who organized the dinner. Also, the girl came by our table FOUR times during the 2 hours we were there. It was obvious she was keeping tabs on us which was annoying. By the way...by 9:30 there were PLENTY of open tables around the restaurant and we didn’t have a special table...there were plenty of tables with better views. It was very distracting and really set the mods for our evening. All six of us are locals and frequent this place A LOT, and to be treated like that was a bit off putting. And embarrassing.
The food...same as always. You pay for the view. The food is ok. Our steak was better than the fish. But it was fine.
We typically come for happy hours or when we have family in town (again, the view is incomparable) and we go for a nice dinner once or twice a year. We will not likely come back for a special occasion like that if we have an expected time limit (which could have been communicated when I made the reservation) because, again, it just set the mood for the whole meal.
We come to Saltys at least once a month since we live in West Seattle . Also our go to place to bring out of town guests.
Only complaint is that the reservation agent did not tell us there was a 1 1/2 hour dining limit on New Year’s Eve... UNTIL we arrived at the restaurant for our
Our New Year’s Eve dinner was superb! We are regulars at their Happy Hour and know that their menu is fantastic. Excellent seafood dishes, great service and one of the best views in the U.S!
