Saltys delivered! The hostess accommodated us showing up an hour early for a Saturday evening reservation. We went to the bar anticipating a 30 minute wait so ordered a dozen oysters and a couple of drinks. A table was available in the red few minutes it took to get the unbelievably fresh oysters. We finished and got to our table Our waiter helped us pick two smaller entrees as we weren’t up for a big meal after the oysters. The stuffed shrimp and stuffed fish both were filled with crab and were delicious The entertainers music made it a perfect evening

The food was good but did not stand out. We ordered the Grouper, Fish & Chips and the Tuna Steak and everything was fine. The waitress was nice and attentive and the covered patio with nice was comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed dining at Salty’s it was our first visit and we definitely will be back the service was exceptional and food was great Highly recommend

Excellent food and service. The grouper was very fresh, and my wife's filet Oscar was excellent. Our server was very attentive. Lastly my son's mocktail and my filthy old fashion were top notch!

Review for Salty’s Restaurant, Clearwater, FL We were really looking forward to dining at Salty’s after seeing all the great reviews, so we made reservations in advance. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit mixed. We ordered the grouper tacos, which were a disappointment. The tacos were mostly dry cabbage—about 80%—with only a small amount of grouper on a plain flour tortilla that lacked flavor. Honestly, it felt like I was biting into a cabbage taco, and I ended up combining the grouper from all three tacos just to make one decent taco. On a positive note, the grouper and fries from the appetizer menu were delicious and definitely the highlight of our meal. Overall, while we were let down by the tacos, the appetizer showed the kitchen’s potential. Hopefully, they improve the balance in their taco dish because the quality of the fish deserves better presentation.

Food was ok, fish a bit over cooked. Asked for a cold glass for can of beer and got hot glass. Very close to beach. Music down stairs and we were upstairs, which kept noise level down
