We did wait quite a while for our food, but it was delicious and they were very busy with several parties of at least 10 people, plus being short staffed.
Good food nice atmosphere. Big steaks great location.
The Food and Service were Very Good. I would recommend the chicken and ribs combo.
Easy parking straight off international drive. Booked a table on the app so straight in and seated without the wait . Good service and steaks were awesome !
Yesterday I reserved a table for 4 at Saltgrass @ 7:30pm. Me and my family tried to walk-in the day prior but were met with a 1 1/2 hour wait (we learned our lesson and downloaded this app).
Despite the crowd and the long line at the door, me and my family were sat down at the designated time we assigned with no issues. The food was great and our server was very friendly! There also wasn’t a long wait for our food either.
Overall I give it a 5 star experience. I will definitely be back!
Dinner was served within a couple minutes of the soup and salads. Asked the manger to remake our dinners and they just put them under heat lamps. Dinner was awful. Server was very apologetic but management was non responsive.
The food was good but our waitress Valerie was Amazing!!!
With a reservation we waited 10 before we could even get a host attention and waited another 10 minutes before we got a table . A total of 20 minute wait even with a reservation. Food was cold , and overpriced.
My food was ridiculously undercooked, and the food was cold. I tired my fiancé’s fried shrimp , it tasted like it was just sitting there.
You get salt alright. Everything is so heavy with salt. Filet was half raw.
We had an 8:15 reservation but at 8:45 we were tired of waiting and left. FYI, they don’t know what a reservation is.
On vacation. Couldn’t find many places that had availability. Called Saltgrass and was told that we couldn’t make reservations but they had about a half hour wait. Drove over, within about 15 minutes. When we arrived we were told there was an hour wait, okay, so we put our names on the list at 715.
Happened to look on Open Table and saw a reservation for 745 available so we booked that and told the hostess we were there. She said she’d mark us as arrived and get us in ASAP.
We ended up being seated at 830.
Upon being seated we noticed how loud the restaurant was. We were there with our kids so it wasn’t a huge problem but had it been a date or special occasion it would have been hard to hear each other or enjoy conversation.
We ordered the queso and chips appetizer, asking for the pico on side due to a DEADLY TOMATO ALLERGY. I always make sure the server knows this isn’t a “I don’t like the taste” thing but is instead a health risk for my husband. We also ordered the fried pickles and peppers as an app.
Queso came out, pico all in it. Husband said it was fine, he would just have the pickles. I made the server aware that the queso came out without the kitchen taking notice of the note on it. She did offer to being another but we told her it was okay, just wanted her to be aware that the kitchen wasn’t paying much attention since she was the one who usually got the flack for it.
We ordered two six ounce filets, a sirloin, and a country fried steak for our dinners.
All three steaks came out way undercooked (ordered them all medium rare), side came out wrong on one of the orders.
I ate mine undercooked, husband ended up sending his back and telling them to not worry about replacing it. Daughter wanted hers fixed so a manager took it back and brought a new plate. New one was also undercooked. Younger daughter got her food but said it wasn’t very good and barely ate any of it.
Ended up spending $150 for a dinner no one was at all satisfied with. : (
Unfortunately our latest visit fell flat. Coming from Texas we used to LOVE Saltgrass. However catching up with friends in Orlando that we haven’t seen in nearly 10 years we opted to for Saltgrass… the food was poor quality. Service had a lot to be desired for as well. Felt bad as I had recommended restaurant as both families had dined in one previously during our time in Texas. Great catching up with old friends but unfortunately the Saltgrass on I-Drive was bad…
Service was not so good..long wait and the Server barely came to our table. The food was very tasty, however the Chef could work on the plating and presentation.
Was great! Atmosphere was great! Great service! Was a really nice experience and it was our first time ever visiting this restaurant.
Steak was way over cooked but we wait so long to get it that we just ate it. Asked for A1 sauce and received an empty bottle. Cheese dip we got an as appetizer was stone cold. Overall not a pleasurable experience
Slow, short staffed, food was average, bathrooms were bad
Steak and shrimp were excellent. Service was great. Grilled pineapple martini not to be missed.
Awful. It took them 40 minutes to bring our food.
Food was great! Service was great! It was a little loud but there were a lot of people there. Good value.
Food was good. Service was great! Our server went above and beyond to take care of us.
Food was good, would definitely go again. The server Brandon was the star of the night. Pleasant, attentive and was outstanding with our four year old daughter!
Server was great. Some of the other guests in the restaurant acted like they have not been out in public before. Kids were playing games on phones that were extremely loud or listening to music. One table actually had someone sleeping the whole time we were there. The was really good…
Great Food! Super friendly staff! Enjoyed my dinner and the atmosphere!
It was awesome! Food was great and atmosphere was uniqu!
Everything tasted great except one steak was overcooked. Server was pleasant and kept drinks filled. We mentioned to our server that we all felt that the room temperature was very warm- not sure if anything was done to cool it off. The womens bathroom was pretty messy as well. Otherwise the food was good and the experience pleasant.
Food was delicious and no service complaints. The only negative was that when I requested a salad without onions I was told it was premade and there was nothing they could do.
They stated they were short staffed but we would have never known as service was awesome. The food was amazing especially the Pat’s ribeye!
I had the Filet and Shrimp. The filet was cooked perfectly. The bread was not good at all. I think I read that in some of the reviews I read on the restaurant. The server was excellent.
Service was discombobulated and slow. We made a reservation and then other people got seated first because they didn’t communicate between hosts about the people with reservations waiting. The service was so slow, was an hour from our order to getting the appetizer salad.
Food was excellent, but would not go back due to the service.
The drinks were good but the food not so much!
Server was the worst. For the price and the location the servers should be on their best game. Ours was not.
We were able to get in and get seated right away as we had reservations.. we received service immediately and she was pleasant. We ordered a Texas tea and it was over powered by sour mix . We asked our server if it was supposed to be comparable to the Long Island ice tea and yes it was… however, it was clearly not properly made so our server who is also a bartender went back and made one for us herself and it was perfect! Where we became disappointed was when served the soup. My husbands had a big rolled up food label in it. The manager came over and explained what it was however, didn’t not offer to take anything off, didn’t offer a discount nor removed it from the check. They did bring out another bowl they said from a fresh batch and it was good but finding objects in your food pretty much changed the experience. We had a steak with baked potato as side adding broccoli. We’ll go figure, they instead used my side as broccoli and charged me for the photo. Broccoli .99 and potato 4.50?? Needless to say… it was an ok experience and now I understand why everywhere else surrounding had an hour to and hour and a half wait. Saltgrass we were able to make reservation as we were driving to it 20 minutes prior. I was a server for several years and this is why we didn’t complain with all the things that could have been better. I rather just not go back.
Food is way over priced for the value and the preparation was poor. Food was over cooked and cold. No wonder the place was empty. Albeit we got good service. He probably won't stay there as it was empty ...another Landry failure
First time at this chain and my filet was cooked perfectly but my wifes steak was over done and my kids chicken strips were chewy and not done entirely.
Overbooked. Turning people away and short staffed
Such a disappointing experience. We had reservations for 6:15 for a party of 6 on a Sunday evening. We did not get seated until 7:10. I overheard staff say they were short staffed. So I assumed that meant people had called in and I felt bad for them. However at 7:45 when our server was finally bringing water to us I asked him and he said it had been like that since March, over 2 months. When we finally got our food at 8:30, everything seemed really good and everybody’s food was good. However I found a hair in mine. I realize these things happen. I quietly told my server. He apologized and took it back to the kitchen. 25 minutes later my family was done eating and I still didn’t have my food. The server brought my food and my steak was undercooked. I didn’t even eat it. He said he would bring our check he just needed to get the manager to take my meal off and he said the manager would be over to speak to us. Well my meal was taken off but the manager never showed her face. Such poor customer service. I think I was more appalled that the manager never even offered an apology for any of it. If you know you are that short staffed, don’t take reservations. We saw several parties get up and leave and I wish we had done the same thing. Poor management for sure.
Great place to eat and service. The long line and many people waiting was evident that the restaurant was awesome.
The evening was exciting Sherlie our waitress was so friendly and sweet..It was as if i were talking to a friend..The food tasty and delicious..Our steaks cooked to perfection and the sweet tea remind me of sitting on the front porch in Georgia on a sunny afternoon..I recommend the potato soup, creamy and flavorful..
