Our server, Bryan, was outstanding!! The Ribeyes had a nice flavor but was mostly gristle. For the price ..... not good. All in all, we had a great time.

First, let me say that the food was delicious and they can certainly make a wonderful Manhattan. When booking, I was asked if I was celebrating a special occasion, and in fact, we were going to be dining on my birthday so indicated that we would be celebrating a birthday. My husband and I had never dined at Saltgrass, but had heard that the food was excellent, so thought we'd give it a shot. It took a while to get our cocktails and place our order, but then the race was on. We ordered a shrimp cocktail to share (it was wonderful). It doesn't take long to devour a couple shrimp, but by the time I took a bite out of my second shrimp, the waitress was sliding the salad under my nose. The salad, was also delicious, but less than a third of the way through my salad, my steak arrived. At this point I'm starting to wish we had just gone to The Range for our special celebration. I felt like I was being rushed through and therefore didn't enjoy the food they way I might have. And I never got offered a second beverage. The waitress asked if we save room for dessert (but had our bill in her hand in case we didn't). As we left I stopped at the hostess desk to "ask a quick question." I asked why they ask if you are celebrating a special occasion if the occasion isn't going to be acknowledged. She replied, "that's a good question, and I don't have an answer." I asked who would have the answer and she replied, "the manager." I waited... After a while she looked at me and asked if there was anything else. I asked if the manager was coming. She said "oh, do you want me to get her." I said, "yes, if she's the one who can answer my question." Don't get me wrong, if you can afford to eat at Saltgrass, you can afford a slice of cake. I'm not looking for free cake. I just didn't understand why ask if you aren't going to acknowledge. When I posed to question to the manager she said, "yeah, we don't do that." I said "then why ask." She said she doesn't have any control over that.

Had the steak and potato salad it was awesome . The mushroom appetizer was very good but a little spicy ! Forgot our waitress name , but she was great . Cocktails were very good .
