We were at a conference so they were very busy. We made reservations. We waited over 20 minutes. We ordered. My medium rare filet was rare and cold. The butter they placed on the to of the petite filet didn’t even melt. My friends baby back ribs were extremely dry. I know they were busy, but the food quality was very poor.

Food ok—steak cooked right, wedge salad only fair. Reservation is not really honored, even with confirmation, and even when early or on time, as they do not hold a table for you. You must wait for first come first served and people to finally leave tables. Even then, tables were cleaned slowly so there were many waiting with actual empty tables. Our server was trying very hard but had too many newly seated tables assigned. So slow to serve drinks and bread.

Here for a major trade show. Took customers to dinner. Despite the likelihood that Houston was possibly in the World Series this week, plus a major trade show on the premises, the resteraunt was out of the best wines. Disappointing. The service was excellent however and food always predictably good.

Food was great. Meal was right before an Astros playoff game, so it got pretty busy and the service slowed a bit, but that was expected. Never got to loud and we never waited long for anything.

First problem wa finding a thin metal wire in my soup and them insinuating I put it there. Second problem was trying to charge me $20 for a margarita with Patron when I SPECIFICALLY told the waiter I Did Not want patron. Would not recommend this Saltgrass to anyone! I was already not a fan of Saltgrass but someone else in my group wanted it so I figured I’d give them another try. Never again!! I’m done with Saltgrass and will never be dining there again!

My wife and I went early in the evening during restaurant week and ordered the small filet with shrimp. The service was excellent, and the appetizers and dessert were good, but the main meal was so cold that butter wouldn't melt on the steak when they served it. We should have sent it back, but we usually simply eat what we can and never go back. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

There were 5 of us dining before an Astros baseball game. Since our reservations were before 6:00 PM, we ordered from the Early Dinner menu. All of us agreed the food was outstanding, and the portions were perfect for us. I am comfortable highly recommending this Saltgrass for a pre-game dinner.

Despite being incredibly busy due to the overwhelming amount of customers from the conference being held, the staff at Saltgrass was attentive and upbeat! The food was really tasty and we really enjoyed our experience there!

Went in for dinner on Easter Sunday, and the establishment definitely wasn't prepared for the crowd. After being seated for 15 mins, we had to flag down someone to find our waiter. Our food was prompt, but the drinks took forever due to there only being one bartender. I'm not sure if they didn't anticipate a crowd but this experience was different from what I'm used to at Salt Grass.

Final Four adventure. We had reservations so hot right in while others were told they had a hour wait. Thanks open table. Food was great and we didn’t have to wait very long for as busy as they were. Plenty of food. Our waiter was excellent. Even though he was busy he still delivered outstanding service. Great personality
