   We were promptly seated at reservation time, server was helpful and efficient. The baked salmon was cooked perfectly as well as the scallops! Bread, salad, entree with potato, and dessert were a great value!

   my family loves coming to the salt rock! food and service is outstanding and the view is amazing. sound level a bit loud especially when the speaker is over your table. But overall always a great time!

   We love the Salt Rock. Our server was very friendly, but we felt rather rushed this time around. The next time we will indicate that we are in no rush and will take our time ordering between courses. We realize they want to turn over tables quickly, but for what you pay, having a more relaxed, longer dinner experience is what we are looking for.

   Made a reservation a week in advance to be sat at a high top table in the bar right behind the hostess station. Our party included a child and 2 seniors, so a high top table was extremely uncomfortable. The rude young hostesses were playing games behind the stand and menu continually flew through the opening and into our chairs. My son slipped on a menu that flew under his chair from the hostess station. I could understand being seated in the bar area if walked in, but absolutely not what we were expecting booking a week in advance. Excellent food, definitely worth the price, but the atmosphere absolutely didn’t live up to our expectations.

   Amazing location on Indian Rock Beach , very upscale style dining, and a great wine selection.if you are looking for a variety of fresh seafood and steaks, this is definitely the spot!

    I have had the pleasure of dining at Salt Rock many times over the years. I haven’t been back in a couple of years. We were celebrating our daughter 16th bday. Service was good, but felt a touch rushed. We ordered two sushi rolls for an appetizer and it was delicious. The main entrees was a lil disappointing, not bad but not amazing, as I had in the past. As always a beautiful restaurant and view of the inter coastal.

    Not out best experience at Salt Rock Grille. We’ve been coming here for the last 12-13 years maybe more, when down in the area. The atmosphere seems to have become more casual. Yoga pants and shorts for the Hostesses and servers were not the style 10 years ago. The white linen table cloths are a thing of the past. The food is still good and they now offer a limited amount of Sushi. I would just like it to feel more upscale like in the past.

    Salt Rock has been a favorite of our family for many years. Parking has always been a challenge but has become downright impossible. My husband circled for 25 minutes while the rest of the family was inside. We finally had to leave, because he was unable to secure parking. SRG no longer offers valet service, and their lot is completely unmonitored and overrun by beach parking (wagons, fishing tackle, swimsuits everywhere). It is complete chaos, and I am perplexed as to why such a respected establishment would do absolutely nothing to protect patron access.

    We had a great dinner. Sat outside on a beautiful, breezy afternoon. Our waiter, Garrett, did a great job. Our only disappointment was with the parking. We drove north from Madeira Beach and friends drove south from Dunedin. After 20 minutes and circling multiple lots, they couldn’t find parking and headed back home. The City should work with the restaurant to alleviate this issue. Sad for our friends.

    We sat outside with a nice view of the water and celebrated a friends birthday. The food was excellent. Started with the house salad and then had the filet and baked potato and mushrooms. Everything tasted delicious. Our waiter Scott was very attentive, friendly and professional. Ended with the most amazing apple pie! Very good value compared to the pricey steak restaurants in Tampa. Love this place. We will be back for sure.

    We had a wonderful anniversary dinner! Our server, Kristine, was very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu. The food was incredible - the best meals we’ve had while on vacation! Would definitely recommend to others.

    Grilled red grouper was awesome! Really enjoyed the wood smoke taste. However our waitress Michelle was not very pleasant, even our 10’yr old daughter noticed and commented about it.

    It's always a great experience at Salt Rock but they really should consider monitoring the parking lot. It's filled with fools parking for the beach and customers are paying a high price and driving around forever looking for spots. Very unfortunate.

    Disappointing early dinner here. The acoustics of the Main room are terrible and the noise level made it impossible to talk. Our server rushed us through the meal. And the food itself was lacking. All of the fish was served in chunks or pieces and was not very flavorful ( although the fish did seem fresh). One friend had meatloaf which was mushy in texture. I might go back and try again but I’d def request the waterview room and try something different.
