Salt Rock Grill is a legendary beach landmark that has a burning passion for delectable food, enticing drink & pleasurable surroundings. Known for our hand cut U.S.D.A prime & choice grade beef, fresh dayboat caught seafood, raw bar & amazing wine cellar. Salt Rock Grill is the perfect choice for an evening of fine dining, superior service & genuine hospitality. Located in Indian Shores overlooking the intra-coastal waterway.
Our Steaks are U.S.D.A. Prime or Choice Grade Beef from top midwestern feeders. We age them four to six weeks in our in-house temperature controlled aging room to develop maximum flavor and tenderness. Then we grill them over our charcoal pit fire. You won't find a better steak. Our chefs have developed partnerships with local fisherman that provide us with fresh dayboat caught seafood selections from our gulf waters and beyond.

    Exciting view overlooking the intercoastal. Had a great server in Cory. Offered up a few dinner selections that were spot on. Drinks and an appetizer followed by two awesome seafood dinners. So many fresh choices. And the new discovery was an outside covered bar area. Had so much fun the entire evening.

    From the moment we walked in to the time we left we had the best evening. Our waiter, Jerry was amazing. He answered all our questions, was very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Both meals were some of the best we’ve ever had. Drinks & our “special dessert” was phenomenal. We chose Salt Rock because it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary, best choice ever!! Thank You Salt Rock for allowing us a wonderful evening to celebrate🥂

    The view from the outdoor patio is amazing! The one downfall is the mosquitoes - bring a can of OFF or spray yourself prior to arriving on the patio. You will become the dinner if you don't. Our waiter was kind enough to bring over a napkin sprayed with repellent to rub on ourselves and it helped some, but wasn't enough to keep them away. The appetizer (meatball) was amazing but the main entrées fell a bit short (we had the red fish and salmon). We would eat here again, but would select different entrées.

    Food, views and service were impeccable! We will certainly be back! I had the filet and baked potato and it was flavorful, well prepared and delicious! The only thing I would note is in the evening (after sunset) the mosquitos were unbearable so (just be in full when sitting outside) BUT luckily we were about done dinner anyways.

    Unwelcoming hostess, Even with a reservation we had to wait. No problem, went to the bar, had enough time to finish our drinks before that table was ready. Both bartenders were great . Should have ate at the bar. Finally seated, I had asked for a view or outside which is why I thought we had to wait. Ended up at the bottom of the stairs so everyone that came down the steps and turned right hit the back of my Wife's chair. Server seemed bored and abrupt. I ordered the New England seafood chowder. I received a cup of what appeared to be burnt green pea soup which after 2 tries got sent back. Wife ordered caprese salad which came quite awhile after my soup. Our dinner was Red Snapper which was good and stuffed grouper which was also ok. Neither were more than average. I remember Salt Rock as a really great place to dine and enjoy a evening. By our experience, That ship has sailed. This was an anniversary dinner.
