Popina has become our go-to spot for team lunches when there's a special occasion. The food is absolutely outstanding! It's a little pricey for everyday outings, but if you're looking to celebrate something this is the place to go.

We chose Popina while looking for somewhere close to the Opera House that wasn't touristy. We were delightfully surprised. Much more than a good location, the food was amazing. The best gluten free pizza base I've tasted. Everything was fresh and tasty. Delicious chocolate torte dessert (also gf). Nice wine list. We will be back.

Unfortunately the highly recommended Popping menu had been redone at lunch time and the "hummus you just have to get" was taken off the menu. Gnocci was doughy and a very small serve, pizza was wet and soggy. Such a shame, was looking forward to a much better experience!

Amazing food! with atmosphere and service to match. Everything we ordered was a hit, recommend trying lots of the starter plates and sides to share. Will return and recommend.

It was the first time to visit the Gateway, of course it was the first time to have a dinner with friends who came from Brisbane at the Popina. We enjoyed it very much especially service.

Great staff who always had a recommendation at hand and could laugh with us. Honestly, staff made the night so much more fun! Tasty food. Good atmosphere.
