There was a horrible taste to the pan roast. I tasted the sauce before eating anything and almost gagged. I honestly thought the mussels or one of the seafood items had gone bad. Also, it was watery in consistency. I always order pan roast when I go to oysterbars (we sat at the oyster bat) and I never had one that the sauce was not a creamy. When I told the server I didn't want it, his demeanorturnwd very unfriendly. He took on a scornful look and asked, Whats wrong with it?". I responded, "it has a very bad taste. It taste horrible". He didn't apologize for the food or say anything to recover. He flatly asked is there anything else you want? I ordered the gumbo. It was good. We also had cesar salad and oysters Rockefeller that were good. However, the service didn't treat us well after I sent back the first plate. He barely looked at us when he came to our table. That ruined my evening. Also, both dishes had lobster in them. However when I got the gumbo they ( purposefully) had not added the lobster. It was so upsetting, especially since I had not eaten any of the lobster in the original meal. I didn't say anything. I just ate and left. I still tipped, although my husband told me not to.

We booked a reservation, but they gave our table away so we had to wait just to be sat at the bar. Ordered both the soups in their menu and they were so gross. I never send food back but I did that night. Ordered the bread as an appetizer and it was served at the end of our meal. When that happens I expect the dish to be hot or warm, at least, but the bread was cold. Ordered a sushi roll and was put off by the flavor. As an avid sushi eater I expected a certain quality for raw fish, which they did not meet. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts which were so burnt that we couldn’t finish them. The only good thing we got was a salmon Cesar salad. A Cesar salad should not be the only edible thing on a menu. Don’t waste your money here.

We came in 45 minutes before closing. We were informed that Kitchen will close at 10pm. We were hoping to get dessert but the waitress didn’t give us a heads up on the last call. When we told her we wanted crème brûlée she said oh sorry kitchen is closed that was before 10pm. We told the hostess we are celebrating someone’s birthday but the message was not relayed to the waitress. Our waitress Jane was efficient fast and friendly. Also the California Roll and crunchy roll was not that great. For the price I paid stater brothers was better in terms of taste. The Cod was amazing as well as the pan seared scallops. Overall experience tho was good.

Was very disappointed that they had zero Cabernet wine available I mean zero! With all the wine companies out there they only offer one, which they were out of and offered no other! Also didn’t realize we could not order from the oyster bar, didn’t realize it was two different menu in the same restaurant. Also requested a table and they gave us a booth.

The food was too salty - perhaps they are trying to live up to their name - and overpriced for the portions and flavor.

Ordered the crab louie salad. it was a bit bland. It had 2 large shrimp on top and one wasn't cleaned properly, something a seafood place shouldn't miss. It was taken care of but it made me wonder what else gets missed.
