    We came in 45 minutes before closing. We were informed that Kitchen will close at 10pm. We were hoping to get dessert but the waitress didn’t give us a heads up on the last call. When we told her we wanted crème brûlée she said oh sorry kitchen is closed that was before 10pm. We told the hostess we are celebrating someone’s birthday but the message was not relayed to the waitress. Our waitress Jane was efficient fast and friendly. Also the California Roll and crunchy roll was not that great. For the price I paid stater brothers was better in terms of taste. The Cod was amazing as well as the pan seared scallops. Overall experience tho was good.

    Not enough vegan options. The kale salad and Brussels sprouts were tough.

    Was very disappointed that they had zero Cabernet wine available I mean zero! With all the wine companies out there they only offer one, which they were out of and offered no other! Also didn’t realize we could not order from the oyster bar, didn’t realize it was two different menu in the same restaurant. Also requested a table and they gave us a booth.

    The food was too salty - perhaps they are trying to live up to their name - and overpriced for the portions and flavor.

    Cooks don’t know how to cook. Server was mic and got the feeling she knew the food was junk.

    Ordered the crab louie salad. it was a bit bland. It had 2 large shrimp on top and one wasn't cleaned properly, something a seafood place shouldn't miss. It was taken care of but it made me wonder what else gets missed.

    Waiter Douglas was a flighty mess. Doesn’t make eye contract, didn’t introduce himself. Was not welcoming. When asked for more bread after I paid $12 for a breadbasket he said “I’ll see if we have any..” then proceeded to say I can charge you for another basket, mind you the basket wasn’t even complete because another sever that dropped it off said they were out of some of the other bread because it was “end of the week”.., really…at a resort? Shrimp from shrimp fettuccine looked and tasted like boiled shrimp. The miso glazed cod was not glazed, it was dry and burnt! The original waiter pawned me off on Gina who was wonderful and did the best she could after this miserable dining experience! I saw no manager to complain to or I would have said something! Do better Harrah’s!

    The restaurant was lovely. The staff was great. Our only complaint was the lack of selection on the sashimi menu (they were sold out of some options) and the portions. The largest sashimi option for 2 was $125. However, the portion was not enough for the two of us and we don’t eat that much. The bill was $200 with tip and we left hungry. We typically order a large sashimi plate for 2 in our favorite restaurants in Carlsbad, LaJolla or Oceanside For $30-$40 less and never leave hungry. I think if we go back to this restaurant since it is so close to home we will need to try something different.
