Our recipes come from the central part of Mexico, and have been in our family for generations. We use the freshest and most traditional ingredients, such as corn husks, banana leaves, hominy, cactus, papaya, and pineapple. We also use spices like achiote, smoked chipotle peppers, chiltepin, and epazote, all enhanced by marinating, grilling, and steaming. From meat, chicken, and seafood, to vegetarian and gluten free, our menu features a wide variety of items that are sure to satisfy your tastes and dietary needs. Our latest creation is an alternative to traditional Mexican chorizo. We’ve created our own recipe for soy chorizo. It’s vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and …. delicious!

The restaurant was very busy, probably as a result of a volleyball tournament flooding it with big groups. So we waited about 20 minutes past our reservation time, and even when seated the staff was still trying to cope with the crowd. The food was good, and I would be willing to give them another shot to see if as I suspect the big crowds were responsible for the slow service.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

I was really excited to try Salsa a la Salsa based on the good reviews and nice website. I was gravely disappointed. We were looking for a restaurant near the convention center, and were planning to meet a couple of friends visiting from out of state that were in town for an event. Our reserved table was available, and had menus. The server initially took our drink order and brought the (1 free) round of chips and tiny bowls of salsa. Once our friends arrived, it took a long time for the server to come back for their drink order, an additional long time for them to bring the drinks, and another long time to come back for our food order. We were not given small plates or utensils and napkins until we asked specifically for them ---- after we had received our entrees. We had to specifically ask for additional drinks and additional chips and salsa at the rare occasion that our server was in the area. Our reservation was after 7pm on a Thursday night. The restaurant was not busy.... and to top it off, I'm not convinced that the food was worth it. I have an appreciation for authentic cuisine, but my entree was not something I would get again. Perhaps the server was new? Perhaps I had high expectations as I went out on a limb to try a new restaurant with out of town friends? Either way -- I wouldn't recommend.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

I actually made a mistake and made reservations for the down town salsa ala salsa but we were at Midtown global market location. We had a great time at the staff was wonderful the food was wonderful it was a fun night out!請問這對你有幫助嗎？

The food is ok, not super memorable but definitely not bad in any way. The poor service however and how loud it is makes it hard for me to give a rating of any more than 2 stars. We waited an exceptionally long time before our food came out and unfortunately once it was served we never saw our server again. Again the food was ok but definitely not anywhere near good enough to overcome the poor service and poor ambience. I don’t think I’ll go back or recommend it to anyone I know.請問這對你有幫助嗎？
