This unique seafood restaurant adds new twists to classic dishes featuring local and sustainable seafood. Park in Grand Hyatt's garage for 3 hours of complimentary self-parking with validation.
Amazing experience from start to end. The seafood tower was fresh and delicious, and the tuna nigiri was the best I’ve had in the Southern California area. Five stars, would highly recommend.
We were celebrating birthdays. The food was excellent, as was the service. Prices not bad for quality of food. Will definitely return.
Chilean sea bass is unreal - every time I have it I am blown away all over again!
I took my wife and daughter out for Valentines Day dinner. The staff was extremely courteous and so very personable. We ordered the Seafood Platter, which was outstanding and very generous. My daughter had the children’s filet mignon and I was beyond impressed with the size, cut and taste. Define global a place we will go again in the near future.
Need more items on the menu for lunch.
Great meal with a beautiful outdoor setting. Awesome staff. Great food.
The inside music is WAY too loud to have a conversation without shouting.
We waited 30minutes for our dessert and had to ask a server for it, apparently the had forgotten about our order.
When we arrived and we had a reservation - I explained to the front we were having a big celebration taking the bride out to dinner!
We just arrived from a six hour flight and were thrilled to be celebrating. No smiles or personality by staff. Nothing.
We had booked this beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view of the harbor and they took us to a back room and seated us in the most unattractive space.
I walked back out to the front and asked if there was any way we could sit in the front dining room - a different hostess said of course we can make that work. We were relocated to a much nicer table. The main dining room was never filled to capacity when we were there.
Favorite Food we ordered: cauliflower
Scallops and sea bass
Disappointing Food: shrimp cocktail & paella,
Service was average - occasionally had to wave my arm to get his attention.
There were plenty of tables open in the big beautiful room that looked out over the harbor.
Beautiful place - not really customer focused -
Our server Brayan was amazing, very professional and attentive! We will be back for another visit!
Good filet, but everything else we ordered was between okay and terrible. The cheese on the cheese board was truly sad. Making it worse, our waitress was just plain absent, and the few times she finally came by, she obviously wasn't interested. This is really too bad. We used to love Sally's.
Food was great but our waiter Francisco tried to scam us with the wine...
I thought it was very unusual that guests sitting out by the fireplace did not have wait service.
Food was good as always
We really enjoyed the sea bass fish and chips. The service is amazing to hear everything is always just write the bread is more of the butter soft we really really enjoy this place thank you
We had a business party of 8, sat outside, and it was perfect. The food was good and the sunshine/view was amazing.
Located on the harbor side of the Hyatt adjacent to the Boardwalk, fun location to people watch and enjoy some well prepared, nicely presented food. With a menu featuring fish, the sea bass was very tasty and enjoyable along with the swordfish. Both meals were served piping hot and in a timely manner. Tad bit on the pricey side but would dine there again next time in town.
The food was good, but not quite as great as other reviewers seem to think. Still worth going, excellent friendly waiter, wonderful location, outdoors is fun and indoors is very nice. If you're staying at the hotel definately go, but if you're just hanging around the San Diego area....go anyway!
I keep coming back to Sally's! Great sushi and amazing view. Great music and vibe as well.
Anniversary dinner was good, service was excellent, friendly and professional.
Food was terrible- crab cake & calamari were cold and both had too much mayo. We should have sent the food back
The bar was nice and modern. We ordered the towered and it took probably 20-25min to get our food. It was placed on ice. I think they had to wait for our food to thaw because the crab leg was still frozen when I took a bite. The lobster was a little over cooked but the oysters were pretty good.
I ordered sushi and got sashimi, waitress made a small adjustment but still not great. Also wanted a particular table, hostess said we would have slow service due to large table so we took another table. 2 seconds later she seated someone in the table we wanted!
Mandy our waitress was very helpful .
The bar is nice. The service was just okay. The Seabass fish & chips are off the chart amazing!! Two Hugh pieces. I couldn’t stop eating them. Too full, good thing we were walking to the car show. Worked it off🤣🤷♀️❤️👌🥰
Outstanding food and service. We had a party of five and we all agreed that everything was great.
Service was non existent. Order taken by manager. Scallops were great!
Food is consistently perfect. Service is excellent.
Lovely spot to dine on our vacation. Wonderful service!
Great food! But disappointed in new look. Preferred the old venue better. Felt more sophisticated..
The food was beyond excellent. For a Friday night it was rather light with people. We sea bass and scallops. They were excellent. Great location.
Sally's handled our small group from the conference in the hotel expertly, and the upstairs space worked well. They were very accommodating about changing the total numbers, and giving us separate checks to bill to our rooms or charge cards.
Everyone was pleased with the quality of the food, across a range of dishes.
Good seafood option near convention center, better than many other restaurants in area.
Second time eating here on a trip to San Diego and both times the fish specials were very tasty, the flavor surprised me. Dessert was another pleasant surprise-a chocolate sphere with hot fudge poured on it table-side revealing ice cream in the middle as the sphere melts. A very decadent as well!
The cocktail I had - fig and soda - was superb! The sea bass was cooked so perfectly that my brain was interpreting the yumminess as if I was eating a steak. Server was friendly and attentive. What a delightful evening!
Overpriced tourist trap - and not even trying to appear as anything but. Stay away from meat appetizers: meat skewers = grizzle skewers. If you mush go eat there for whatever reason, do sushi rolls and such.
Food was good and restaurant was nice
Poor quality of fish
Have always loved this restaurant but this visit was not the best. Took long time for drinks, had ordered two glasses of champagne and hey did not come with their usual strawberry garnish. Also the server completely forgot to put in one of the entree orders so one of 4 didn't get their food on time. They were apologetic but it was still very awkward for here people to eat while he other waited.
Great food and service.
