super loud music. server, luke, was good. he was very attentive. food was so-so. we ordered 2 pizzas. the first one came 10 minutes before the second one. we also ordered calamari. it was very good but had more peppers in it than calamari. the manager was gracious and apologetic and offered us a replacement which was promptly served. unfortunately, as it was not my first experience at Sally’s, it was my guests first visit. he was disappointed in the pizza - it was both cold and burnt. it was thin and too “cracker -like/crunchy” i doubt he will be a repeat customer. our check totaled $85. very expensive mistake, i guess.

Great happy hour prices and items. The pizza (not happy hour priced) was up to Sally’s standards in terms of how it was cooked, but we prefer the larger crumbled sausage pieces vs the sausage cut into slices. The other half of the pizza was pepperoni with hot honey which was very tasty. We got the large pizza, and it was actually quite smaller than we expected, and smaller than the pizza in other Sally’s properties. This Sally’s has a wall of 25+TVs, with two massive screens. Very atypical for a pizza place. It felt more like a sports bar. Nothing beats the original Sally’s New Haven Wooster St Apizza. All that said, we would definitely go back again.

The food is the shining star here. Pizza, unlike most foods, has many variations which some may like and some may not like. If you prefer a well done, thin crust, this is the absolute best in the area. Every speciality pizza we ordered was fantastic. The service was a little slow, mostly because they appear slightly under staffed.

Waited 16 minutes for a waiter to arrive. AC on too cold also chilled pizza quickly.

We've been to the original aSallys in New Haven many, many times so we had set expections of the pizza. The tomato and mozzerella was pretty close to the original with a more burnt crust than usual however my favorite is the potato and rosemary and there was something not right with the rosemary. It was very bitter and off putting. Hoping it was just a one time mistake.

The server was really bad. She didn't come to check ok our table. We had to ask the host for our check and we ordered our deserts with the host.

Had a nice lunch at the new Sally’s. Had the Brussels sprouts and Caesar salad, followed by tomato with muzz and desserts. This might be my new spot for pizza!

The “large” pizza here is a medium anywhere else you go in CT, and the amount of cheese was very minimal. Ordered the garlic bread for an appetizer. It was so saturated in melted butter, I couldn’t eat it. Imagine biting into a wet sponge…just wasn’t impressed behind all the hype, especially considering what the costs is to eat here. I’d go back, as long as I wasn’t paying.
