Please note that the third weekend of every month is a fully vegetarian menu.
Celebrating our new Grand baby
This is the 3rd time that I have been there. It keeps getting better!
I have been twice now and this place blew me away both times. The five course meal with the perfectly matched natural wines can’t be beat. I can easily say this is currently the best restaurant in New Orleans. It’s hard to get a reservation but if you do, be prepared to be amazed. The food and the staff make this place excellent.
AMAZING dinner. So much flavor in each course. One better than the next. Will definitely be returning. Kudos to the kitchen for delivering such a flavorful meal. Waitstaff was also great!
It is an amazing intimate restaurant and such a privilege to dine there.
Amazing and inventive fare in a remodeled home. Small bar and dining room, with dinner service limited to a few nights a week. Wine pairings with the meal were unusual and accented the perfectly prepared and presented pre fixe menu. I hate to recommend this spot, as I would like to keep it for myself!!
Seriously... one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in over a year. The chef and his staff were absolutely amazing.
One of our guests said this was ‘the best restaurant’ he had ever been to, and he lived in Paris for years. Delicious, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
It was a wonderful, lovely meal. The menu was thoughtfully conceived and each course was dynamic and so flavorful. We enjoyed their use of local ingredients. Their Poussin in the Hay was one of the most well prepared chicken dishes ever!
This restaurant is pricey, but worth every penny. This was the most unique dining experience that I’ve ever had. I’m hoping to go back for my anniversary this year.
Amazing food and hospitality. An instant favorite. Can't wait to come back and back and back and back..
My first time here and not WOWed as much as I expected, but on the whole the evening was very good. I will return for again - maybe for the vegetarian option next time.
Go to Saint-Germain for an intimate yet unpretentious night of playful tastings served by people who are passionate about creating. Have faith in the menu, explore, and be surprised by the care and spontaneity of it all.
This was one of the top five best meals I have ever had in my life!!
The food was very good but the format of a tasting menu results in a very expensive experience. It’s location gives it a hipster vibe which doesn’t work with the pricing which is on a par with say Brennan’s. Also the A/C is virtually nonexistent, a challenge for a New Orleans August evening.
Love the passion that these folks put in to their restaurant. It is not just a meal, they are creating a movement.
I LOVE THIS APOT! Best place ever...
The most amazing dinner I have ever had! These are by far the most talented and creative chefs. Everything they brought to the table was not only delicious but beautiful and unique! The service was also top notch!
These guys hit it out of the park. From the get go, our introductory cocktails were expert and delicious as we walked over to our table. Cute lil room playing disco and other choice tunes. Melanie our waitress was friendly attentive and a pleasure. The food itself was surprising at each turn, well thought out and made with so much love. I could not remember every little detail for every ingredient but the guys went above and beyond and over delivered in every aspect. Even the give-away at the end some sort of orange flavored salt bag that I have been using on my own eggs at home is superb.
On my way out I made a reservation for the following month.
We ended up paying about 150/ person for a five course meal, lots of drinks, and tip and it was well worth it. Can't wait to go back. You could get away with a more modest meal if you had the three course and just a drink or two, but I would go all out here, because the crew knows how to execute.
Might be my new favorite restaurant in New Orleans. So excited to share meals with other people here and see what creative things they do.
This is the best meal that I have had in ages. The place, service, food, everything about it was sublime.
Not just a meal...a true experience. We did the 5 course menu (actually 7). Each dish was lovingly prepared. Each was explained to us in detail. We could tell that the staff loved what they were doing. Really expensive but we thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is our new favorite restaurant in NOLA. It's hip and experimental and everyone who works there is personable. It's just tiny so it's hard to get a table but you can cozy up to the bar at any time.
We really enjoyed the concept and the chef does amazing things with fresh ingredients. We didn’t realize that It was the monthly vegetarian dinner, and would have preferred the regular menu. It was also warmer than we realized it would be, although there was a fan.
We really did enjoy the 5-course pairing and would go again in cooler weather, but would ask more questions about the type of menu that night.
Cant wait to go back
We dine out almost every, if not every weekend and I have not had a meal of this caliber in a long time. We were lucky enough to get a reservation and had an incredible experience from start to finish. Each dish is uniquely crafted and the meal as a whole flows from one course to the next. 100% worth the money for all 5 courses with the wine pairings. Delicious food, lovely ambience. We will definitely be back.
Wow. Yup, it's that good. Probably the best meal we have had, in New Orleans, or anywhere. We loved the concept of a fixed menu, the well-paced serving, the servers, and of course, the food. Also Chef Trey coming to the table to talk (and not talk down to) about the food is a delight in and of itself. The flavors were something we've never really tasted before. Glorious. We will be back. Thank Saint-Germain for a lovely evening.
Amazing food and presentation for the tasting menu. Third week of the month is the vegetarian menu, which was fantastic when we went. The staff, chef and owners were all super-charming as well. Every dish was a surprise and most (if not all) featured ingredients fresh from their garden. I wish I could eat like this every night.
Had a wonderful meal at Saint Germain. They have a small private dining room where they serve a 3 or 5 course prix fixe menu with the option to pair with wine. I went during Vegetarian week which happens during the 3rd week of the month and it was definitely worth the wait.
The food was extremely creative but matched in flavor as well. They make their own bread, butter and oils and grow herbs and veggies.
The service was great and personable and the servers were very knowledgeable .
I hope to return soon.
Possibly the best restaurant we have eaten at in New Orleans for quite some time. Excellent food and service. Def do the wine pairing.
This was truly an outstanding meal. Got the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing and it was a highlight.
One of the best meals I’ve had in NOLA!
Everything exceeded our expectations!! I would go back here in a heartbeat! The food was exceptional and the service was outstanding!
There was no menu posted online. At the restaurant there is only one option. A tasting menu. Very disappointed there were no other options. The tiny bites of dood were mediocre at best. $80 per person. Poor value. Won’t be back
One of the finest restaurant experiences I’ve had inside of the US. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 30 years, and this team absolutely blew us away with not only great cuisine and pairings- but the hospitality, oh my- unparalleled! Great job guys! I have a feeling in the very near future it will be nearly impossible to get a reservation here. Next time I’m in NoLa, this will be a definite return. Merci pour le repas!
Fantastic meal at a great value. The check team is definitely coming food that the area hasn't seen yet and wouldn't be surprised if those reservations become harder to get. Wine and Bev program keeps up!
An adventure for the senses - on my birthday, nonetheless! My wife and I were lucky enough to enjoy an unforgettable meal and experience at Saint-Germain. Chefs Blake Aguillard and Trey Smith obviously take great care in sharing their inventive creations without an ounce of stuffiness. The front of house staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and intimate. The coursed tasting menu changes periodically, but anything that comes out of this little shotgun will leave you wanting more. They also offer bar fare and a happy hour, which we are excited to check out soon. We can’t wait to return!
It was a great experience for my birthday dinner. Only problem was there was a 4 top table that came in for 9:00pm that was obnoxiously loud. Otherwise, the food, service and experience was great.
Just wow! It was all about the food. The service and attention to detail was impeccable.
Easily one of the bear meals I’ve ever had. Flawlessly executed. Service was outstanding. You will be blown away.
The best meal we've had in a long time, including a couple of Michelin one-stars in Provence last summer. The restaurant only operates 6-10 Th-Sat. There's a choice between a 3-course menu and a 5-course menu. That's it. We had the five ($79), and every one was fabulous. White asparagus; a dried venison tartare, a chicken broth with mushrooms, peas and a touch of foie gras; black cod; and a strawberry dessert. The menu changes daily. Reservations are hard to come by. You might call and inquire about cancellations. This is a serious "foodies" place. If you're the kind of person who complains about small portions, don't bother. But, in fact, the total--given the richness of the food-- is quite filling. This is a fabulous addition to New Orleans dining.
