   We had a great dining experience trying out the restaurant for the first time, and with the expectation that we were not going to have traditional Indian food. When we checked in, we were brought to our table right away and our very attentive server made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire time. The restaurant was buy but we were seated in a nice location where we were able to enjoy a conversation without competing with the background music or conversation at other tables. It was a great evening for outdoor dining but I am glad that we were able to enjoy the casual elegance of the indoor space; interestingly, the strung lights above and herbal garden brought in an outdoor vibe. We were hungry after a very long drive from out of town, and started out with the house soup and salad (plain greens but delicious dressing), vegetarian and beef samozas, and crab cakes, and then ordered lamb biryani, plain and garlic naan, and palak paneer. We were too full for dessert, and ended up packing almost half of the biryani and a few of the leftover naan. At the end of the meal, the consensus of the four diners in the group was that we had a great experience (4.5/5) and really enjoyed the samosas (crisp crust, very creamy filling, and excellent sauces) and palak paneer (spinach was fresh and light, and did not have the traditional creamier texture). When we return, we will try additional dishes to see how we truly feel about the food because even though the opinion regarding the dishes we had ranged from good enough to excellent, we felt that we had short-changed ourselves by opting for just a mild level of spice. Also, since we were trying to eat more responsibly, we thought that it probably helped that the dishes tasted less rich than the more traditional saucy and ghee-rich entrees that would have definitely enticed us to consume more naan and rice!

   The food and service were fantastic. Also had their torchlight drink which had a kick to it and was good. Their bread and chutney there are so good!

   Great food, good value, and wonderful customer service. We ordered the lunch 2 entrees for $16 and bottomless mimosas for $9.00.

   Great experience. A bit expensive for a regular Indian dinner, but it was just great.

   When we arrived for our reservation the restaurant was very busy, which is to be expected at 6:45 on a Saturday. It was a date night for us so we didn’t mind being out a little longer. We waited while the lobby continues to fill up. It was taking a little while for our table to be ready so the manager asked us to sit at the bar and they would take care of our first round of cocktails while our table was prepared. So kind!! All of the bartenders were so nice to us even though we could tell they were super busy. Once we were seated our server, Chanda, promptly arrived and thanked us for being so patient. She was so bubbly and calm and it instantly put us at ease! We ordered our meals - Malai Shrimp and Spicy Salmon Biryani. The food was PHENOMENAL! While our wait was a little longer than normal we felt like royalty at Saffron! The team was so welcoming and kind and the food was better than either of us could have imagined! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to dine on the patio as the weather turns nicer. This is definitely one of our new favorites!

    Such a great meal! Excellent food, I thoroughly enjoyed my grilled shrimp dish. And that masala sauce! Delicious! Service was great and the atmosphere is so lovely.
