Saffron Urban Indian Kitchen is a concept Chef Diwesh has been dreaming and planning about for over a decade. His goal was/is to create a space that is inviting, calming & an ambience that compliments his food. We are a "contemporary casual dinning" with a passion for everything hopsitality. Chef Diwesh takes pride in what he serves and his team is equally passionate and dedicated to ensure to match rest of the experience with the amazing food.

While you can find familiar dishes in the main menu, Chef is particular about the ingredients and the overall quality of the food. He is also dedicated to a monthly tasting menu that will be served in the Chef's Table (by rservation only: will be activated early spring).

The appetizers we had were delicous. My husband and I had 2 different Biryani dishes - he haad the spicy salmon and I had the vegetarian. they were delicous and the portions were gigantic. We took home the rice - we combined ours together which made for a nicely spiced rice dish which we then used as a backbone for other meals at home. This made for excellent value. The ambiance and service was wonderful.

This is my new favorite Omaha restaurant! Everything about my experience was perfect. My partner & I came for Omaha Restaurant Week, & the food selection was delicious. Our appetizers were insanely delicious, especially the chili cauliflower. Soup was included as well! I've never had an Indian soup, but it was great! My main dish was paneer makhan. I had a great experience here & will definitely be coming back in the future to try more dishes!

Chicken thighs used in the chicken tikka masala instead of chicken breasts. While overall a good flavor, the quality of food has decreased, and we were a little disappointed.
