Saffron - South
The food is lovely, with solid vegetarian, fish(salmon) and meat choices. Cauliflower appetizer was amazing and my spouse loved the salmon entree.
We have been on multiple occasions. The food is delicious. Always fresh, well seasoned and generously portioned. The service has always been very good. They genuinely want to ensure you have enjoyed your meal. They have also been very accommodating of my sons nut allergy. I highly recommend Saffron as a great new West Lakes Hills dining option.
Food is fantastic but the strip mall and the BYOB aspect detract from the 5 star food. If you care about flavors and quality but can live with the marginal ambiance it's a home run.
Offers good value for your lunch dollar.
Very good food. Affordable and great tasting! We had a large group who did family style dining; everyone left pleased and full!
This is a friendly neighborhood restaurant for a casual tasty meal at a reasonable price.
The wait staff was very helpful. One in our party loves Indian food, but not too spicy. They prepared it so that all could enjoy. I have eaten there several times and the dishes are always flavorful and well prepared.
Super. Good as always was superb. If possible service was even better.
Great food and family staff.
Great place - mix of standard North Indian restaurant dishes with Nepalese and Indo-Chinese specialties.
Saffron South is every bit as wonderful as the northern location. Same menu, same great food and service, no corkage fee for us to bring in two bottles, which they served beautifully for us. Five stars on all counts! Also for this new South location, the space that was previously occupied by another Indian restaurant and was dark, dreary and dumpy has been redecorated and is now bright, clean, and pretty, and seems much more open and spacious too. Great venue now!
Great local Indian. Pleasantly surprised to find this place. Highly recommend. Great food, fair prices!
Nice quiet place with good service and great food. Went on mothers day and I would recommend a reservation.
Best ever Indian food. We brought friends who had never tried this type of food and they loved it. The waiters were really helpful at picking out what everyone might enjoy and they were right.
Food and service was really good.
Our table consisted of 6 adults, an infant, and 2 toddlers. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kind, even though the two toddlers did not stay seated for long periods of time. Service was excellent.
Those who have enjoyed Saffron's outlet up on Far West will be pleased to know that the recipes and quality made the trip down MoPac to the new location in Westlake. Everything was spot on, with the Zeera Lamb Bhunna, heretofore untried, a particular standout, as are their Samosas. It's now dangerously close to us!
Food was outstanding and service was exceptionally good! Now we have a great Indian restaurant close to our home!
Excellent Indian food in Westlake. I was disappointed to see Bombay Grill close, but this new restaurant in the same location satisfies my curry cravings. Great appetizers. The Chicken Tikka Masala is perfectly spiced. Friendly service and a good value as well!
This is a new location for Saffron in Westlake. The decor is very simple but the many diverse menu items are very classy and unique, especially the Nepalese selections. Each dish was served fresh and hot. Everything was very flavorful with generous portions. The service staff were highly attentive and helpful in making difficult decisions from all the tempting food descriptions. We had never dined at Saffron before and were delighted with the choice.
Very reasonably priced tasty Indian food that was not overly spicy or hot. The decor is modern and spartan and could use a bit of color, since India is such a colorful country. Maybe some mixed colored bright placemats. The service was good and friendly.
Food is absolutely incredible and the staff could not be more kind, welcoming and friendly. Definitely a new favorite!
Some dishes were good. However, the scallop app was not fresh and not flavorful. The chicken tikka masala was quite dry but the sauce was good. Other than the scallop, we liked the seasoning and flavors and spice.
