Excellent waitstaff , great service , and yummy food ( try the fried chicken on a salad) made our large group’s pre-theatre dinner a great experience!

Great local spot we found! Coolish-vibe - they are into music! Our server was spot on and knew the menu and cocktails. Oh and they have really good cocktails! I had a daiquiri with their own rum and we had the salmon and a chicken sandwich. The salmon was fresh and the chicken was moist, crisp and delicious. Very diverse menu with entrees, sandwiches and some really good salads. We lingered and soaked it all in. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Just had another great meal at Ryebird—This was my third time there, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. The food is consistently great. Everything we ordered feels thoughtful without being overdone, and the flavors are always spot-on. The service is also fantastic and friendly. I also love that they have a ton of outdoor seating... it was great to eat outside and most importantly we never felt rushed. We will be back soon!

Found this place on a business trip. The four of us couldn't have been happier. Cocktails came out quickly and the waitress was all over us in a good way. We had nearly one of everything but favorites were the taquitos appetizer, the crudite, the cheesy bread and simon, shrimp, and fish sandwich. Even the fries were the best ever. The pasta dish was a little creamy but it did say so on the menu. They have really cool "adult milkshakes" with booze for after dinner. They separate their dessert list by edible and drinkable.

We had lunch here after researching online- I’m not sure how this place has good reviews for food. Our server was really kind and hard working BUT the food was just bad. Like I would expect the sandwich my husband got (pulled chicken) at Burger King. It was gross, bad, just an all around no. My salad was ok. Overall disappointing and only gets two stars (not one) because the server was nice.

We had an outstanding time! What a great addition to the downtown Fairfield scene. It was busy but so comfortable with a great vibe. We sat inside after enjoying a cocktail on the patio. Our server Kyra was great and helped us through the menu. We shared the Taquitos as well as the Corn on the Cob Ribs apps and then shared the Pork Chop special entree, which was amazing! Great menu with something for everyone. Wonderful Cocktail list with great whiskey selections. Food & Drink pricing is so fair and certainly less than we’re used to paying in the neighborhood. Fun dessert selections (Grown Up Milkshakes!!) all topped off with really cool music. Can’t wait to grab some friends and head back this weekend.

I took a date here and was nicely surprised by the food and cocktails. Great fun place. Music was eclectic. The server worked hard to please us ! I felt well taken care of. We shared the beet salad. The new fish sandwich was incredibly fresh and my cocktail was the Clockwork Orange made if all Connecticut booze. My date had the pasta special which she loved… Overall I’m going back soon.

I’ll start by saying I know it was a busy night, but the service was so poor. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated by a friendly hostess right away. After thirty minutes of sitting my friend asked the hostess who our server was. She replied that there was only one server and she wouldn’t let the hostess help her. It seems like a manager should have stepped in and allowed others to help wait tables or helped out themselves. We finally ordered drinks and an app. Corn on the ribs came out in a reasonable amount of time and were really good. Drinks took a while longer. Espresso martini and aperol spritz did not look or taste good. After another half hour the server brought our check and never asked what we wanted for dinner. We paid, left and walked to another restaurant for dinner. Before arriving my friend and I were looking forward to trying the new to us restaurant. It was pretty disappointing.
