Ryan's Chef creates a tantalizing selection of appetizers such as jumbo lump crabmeat, steamed mussels in garlic butter and white wine, and oysters Rockefeller. Entrees range from thick, juicy steaks and prime rib to the finest grilled fresh fish and live Maine lobster. Choose from the menu or a superb selection of specials offered nightly. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience.

The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981. Ryan's has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and is often featured in national publications. Recently awarded the DiRoNa Award for Distinctive Fine Dining.

We had a family birthday dinner for my wife at RYANS. The reservation was easy and they allowed us to move to a table closer to the window as was requested by my kids during seating. I can't recall our waiter's name, but he was terrific in all aspects. Specials, drinks, apps etc...very pleasurable and genuine. The food was terrific across the board as well. We had filet, ribeye and swordfish (special) all cooked perfectly and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We also had 3 different apps and 3 different desserts we all shared that were fantastic. Great evening together as a family topped off with excellent food and a friendly waitstaff. I highly recommend.

The steak never disappoints at Ryan’s .. it’s our go to with out of town guests. Service was quick and professional. The only thing we noticed this visit was a very high volume level in the dining room we were seated in .. something we hadn’t noticed before. Still it didn’t detract from the meal itself.

The crabcake appetizer was very good. My wife’s pork chop was prepared very well. However, my ribeye steak was medium and I had ordered it to be medium rare. Since I am one not to waste food, I went ahead and ate the medium steak. For the ribeye to cost $51, I was disappointed. However, with the exception of the ribeye steak being over cooked, it was a pleasurable evening, celebrating our 50th year anniversary.

We had been at graduation celebrations all day and stopped in for a late, light meal of a salad and small crab cake plate each. Our attentive server presented us with a generous basket of fresh, warm rolls while our food was prepared. My salad with bacon, spiced pecans and arugula was way too spicey for my taste and I was unable to finish it. The crab cakes however were perfectly presented and prepared: crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, with arugula, lemon and sauce on the side. It was a pleasant finish to an eventful day.

Great evening! Restaurant was full, so the noise level was slightly elevated. Our waiter was superb, food excellent, and we were never hurried to finish. Decor never changes, but also doesn't look worn or shabby. It is an iconic restaurant in W-S to be treasured.

We have been eating at Ryan's since the 70s. Excellent food, good service. However, our latest meal was seriously flawed by bad reservation management. I made the reservation well in advance. I requested a specific table because of mobility issues for a 99-year-old woman. I followed up on the phone to make certain that the specific table would be available. The person with whom I spoke on the phone asked if I would change the time of the reservation due to the busy schedule that day--Mother's Day & graduation. I adjusted my time as requested, even offered to take an earlier time if that would help with the required accommodation. The hostess assured me that accommodation would be made, that the reservation was confirmed as specifically requested. I confirmed by email/Open Table several more times. When we arrived, we were put at a table other than the specific one requested, reserved, and confirmed. The table we were given was not comfortable and not accommodating to our needs. When I asked for our table, the response by the hostess was terse, haughty, indeed rude. I was told that we have been moved to accommodate a large party. I cannot understand why they were accommodated but not we. The manager stopped at our table to inquire about our meal. My mother was upset about the reservation not being honored and challenged the manager. She was upset. He was rude. He essentially dismissed her concern, offered no apology, and then walked away--leaving an older lady who has been a Ryan's customer for 40 yrs gobsmacked by his cavalier lack of simple courtesy. A profuse apology for the reservation mistake, indeed even a simple acknowledgement was in order but absolutely not forthcoming from the hostess and manager. The boorish behavior of both was shocking. Not what we have come to expect of Ryan's over the decades. Shame on them.

The staff was great and the atmosphere. We had a table outside wasn’t hot just the right cool breeze for a Sunday Mother’s Day. Our waitress was awesome and the food was great. Look forward to coming back and experience another awesome time.

Two room available for private parties. The smaller ones seats a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 36. The larger room has a minimum of 40 and can handle up to 48. Both rooms have windows and fireplaces and the smaller one has access to our outside deck. Please call for more information or to book a private room.
