Enjoy the panoramic view of large oaks and a rolling stream from the many window-side tables, or the large, starlight deck. Or, savor the intimate atmosphere from a comfortable sofa, and in the winter, the warmth of a crackling fireplace.

Ryan's Chef creates a tantalizing selection of appetizers such as jumbo lump crabmeat, steamed mussels in garlic butter and white wine, and oysters Rockefeller. Entrees range from thick, juicy steaks and prime rib to the finest grilled fresh fish and live Maine lobster. Choose from the menu or a superb selection of specials offered nightly. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience.

The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981. Ryan's has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and is often featured in national publications. Recently awarded the DiRoNa Award for Distinctive Fine Dining.

I had the roast duck, my wife had the Chilean, Seabass, and my grandson had the pork chop. Each one of us shared the taste of the others dinner and each one of them was exceptional. The food was cooked to perfection. The temperature was just right. I’ve been there several times and I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

The room that we were placed in was very noisy; it wasn’t that full so there really wasn’t a reason for the volume of noise. One table across from us was so loud we had to yell at one another in our conversation to even hear each other. The other part of our visit was fair due to the food. My mom had to send her pork chop back because it was rare/medium rare. Our waitress was really sweet so that helped some.

The food and wait staff was impeccable as always. Food service was unusually slow but it was Mother’s Day and they were slammed.

Ryan’s is our go-to for special occasions and sometimes “just because we like it!” However, we had a couple of bumps in the road on Mother’s Day Brunch. The service was very slow measured against Ryan’s usual well-spaced tempo. I feel today was a short-staffing issue perhaps more in the kitchen than the servers. I ordered a standard C.A. B. ribeye. It was cooked to absolute perfection but was very tough. When asked how my meal was I told our server about the tough steak. He apologized and went immediately to a manager. That person offered another steak or another entree. I declined both offers due to others at our table were well into their meals. Another concerned manager came by to offer an alternate. No thanks, not at this point. This was disappointing, especially that we were celebrating Mother’s Day. Things can certainly happen but I was disappointed it happened on this particular visit.

Ryan’s was recommended by a trusted friend; and for her maybe Ryan’s is a great seafood and steakhouse. However, I’ve experienced much better jumbo lump crab cakes ( I may have had a few jumbo lumps of crab) and prime rib. Now I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t like my prime rib prepared to experience the best taste; however mine was overcooked. The sauté spinach… well I may have taken a few bites. The service was good and the setting was nice. Overall, disappointed. Would I ever go back? Yes, for the martinis and mashed potatoes.

Always a great experience. The Prime Rib was great and prepared as ordered. Just the perfect place to go to enjoy a special occasion or a romantic evening sharing a meal with that special person in your life. I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list when looking for just that special place to go that never disappoints.

Busy night. Services was slow but waiter was very professional, courteous and polite. My filet was slightly over cook and not as moist as I like it. We've had better experience in past visits.
