                                                                                          This is our third time coming to this location, and every time, we have had a terrible experience. The service has been amateur at best. If you’re looking for a Ruth’s Chris, go to the other location in Boston.

                                                                                          We've been going to Ruth's Chris for years and this location in particular since it opened. Overall the steaks are still euphoria-inducing, but cracks have appeared over time in the rest of the experience. The turnover of waitstaff is constant, so that might contribute. It's been little things that have added up: a stain on the tablecloth, servers not asking about sparkling vs still water, not offering ground pepper with your Caesar salad. They've cut the amount of demi-glace in the mushrooms leaving them watery. The au gratin potatoes are now cubed rather than scalloped, ruining the texture. They changed the bread rolls a few years ago to a cheap "take and bake" loaf with no flavor. I'm not sure how they are trying to position themselves in the steakhouse ecosystem anymore. They were high-end, but now they seem like they are branding themselves as the best of the middle of the pack. Also I don't know what CRM software they use, but they ask us if it's our first time there EVERY time. It's an absolutely wasted opportunity to reinforce your relationship with repeat customers. I'm strongly considering switching to Rare at Encore as our default steakhouse. It's a little pricier but the service is top notch.

                                                                                          Very Comfortable restaurant - from the minute we walked in til we were ready to leave. I was 1st and was greeted at the host station immediately . Our waiter was wonderful, very nice and helpful. All staff was efficient including the person who brought the food to the table. One of the managers even stopped by to talk. Cocktails were excellent. I had a mule, he had a martini. We split an appetizer of the fried calamari and it was delicious! He had a Caesar salad and a fillet and said it was cooked perfectly. I had the sea bass, also cooked perfectly. It came over a bed of sautéed spinach. He had a side of creamed spinach and liked it. We were too full for dessert.

                                                                                          We had a wonderful evening celebrating our son's 12th birthday. They did such a great job making him feel special. The food was fantastic and our server Arman was great! So accommodating.
