We feel the decor is rather dark and gloomy, not very uplifting. Also, on leaving, the female at the reception counter just gave us a very lukewarm half smile...nothing warm said to make us feel appreciated or having a strong feeling about coming back at another time. On a positive note, the other staff was very courteous and attentive, and the food was excellent.

Classic American steakhouse, no surprises and really excellent cut of meat. They did one slightly irritating thing: wine list had BV red blend 2014 but they tried to serve me a 2018 for the same listed price. Spoke with manager and they discounted the bottle $25 which is ok fair. Wait staff excellent had a filet and bone in rib-eye both perfect.

We were in the restaurant section but next to the bar which was extremely noisy. There was hardly anyone seated at the tables at 4:45 and we could easily have been seated on the other side of the room instead which would have been much quieter. The waiter apologized for the noise but that didn’t change it. The food was amazing!

We thought we'd give it a second try and food didn't disappoint. We did have an issue with our service at the beginning, seated and waited 20 mins for our original server who never came, before bartender came over and said there was some confusion and help with the rest of our dinner, she was great :)

We arrived at 7:30 pm and were seated at 7:40 pm. We did not receive our main course until 9:15 pm. The wait wa unacceptable. They offered us a free dessert and we chose Berries and Cream and it was not made as we had received in the past. It was basically a soup of cream with very few berries.

Appetizers were great, drinks were great, steak was great and the server went out of her way to accommodate our son. Side dishes and dessert was nothing special. They did forget to bring our salad course and no one noticed till I pointed it out at the end when I noticed it was still on the check. It had been a long while since we’ve been and not quite up to par with what Ruth’s Chris used to be for the price and expectation of the reputation.

Our dinner lasted about 2 hours but could have been 1.25 with quicker service Dirty plates remained on the table throughout dinner We asked for a list of rums behind the bar, and the list was inaccurate even after our server “checked” Beverages were not refilled unless we asked We were up charged for the better dessert on the 3 course meal we paid for — most restaurants will provide a complementary dessert for a birthday. No expectations here — just a note that no one was going above and beyond We came to celebrate two birthdays, and it was a pretty big let down. The quality of service and food has gone down substantially.

Your waitstaff is amazing, so this is not a reflection on our waiter Craig who was terrific. We were disappointed in our meal. We think that our last two visits to your restaurant were not worth the cost. Both times our steaks were overcooked and very small portions of meat. First time and last time at Ruth Chris. Service was outstanding. But any of these super premium steak places have outstanding service, so you go for the food. If I am paying $60+ for a steak, it damn sure better be better than anything I can do at home, and this one was not. It was a great ribeye...and not one bit better than the great ribeye steaks that I grill up at home at a fraction of the price. The sides were good, but my au gratin potatoes are way better. The creamed spinach...don't bother. The garlic mashed potatoes were great. The single best item was the goat cheese artichoke dip appetizer. For the money, there are better places. The steaks at Shanahan's and Del Frisco's are better than I can grill up.

We did the Cooper Cane Belle Glos wine event. We had never been to one at Ruth’s Chris before. The wine, one of our favorites, was excellent as usual. The food was outstanding! My favorite was the filet with the red onion and black Cherry reduction. We sat with a funny, friendly couple. The host was great and we learned a lot from her.

Wonderful night. Told them on Open Table it was our anniversary. They had rose petals on our table, a card and our dessert plate they spelled out Happy Anniversary in chocolate!! Service was top notch!!

What used to be one of our favorite restaurants has failed us the last two times we’ve been there. Last night three steaks out of three were wrong and by the time they got it right, everything was cold They did comp one of the steaks and offered to rewarm all of the food so the waiters to do their best to remedy the situation but when you spend 600++ dollars on a meal you really like it to be right. Will have to seriously think about going back in third time.

We changed our reservation from 5 to 4 and they still sat us at a table for 5 which made it awkward for conversation. There were table of 4 open and we asked to move but they said they had reservations for them. No one ever showed up. They never took away the extra place setting either. The service was mediocre and the 6oz filet was that similar to an Outback Steakhouse steak. It was very thin and the presentation was not appealing. I will not be back.

I come here often and generally have a good experience. But last night I had a reservation, received an email, a text and a call making sure I was coming and then I showed up right on time, only to be told to wait. I watched the hosts discuss that they didn’t have a good place to seat us. They ultimately seated us in the noisy bar area where we waited and waited for our waiter, and then waited and waited for our drinks. We actually received good service from another waiter who filled in some gaps while our waiter was essentially MIA or running. Jesus, our busboy, was terrific. We never felt welcome for the time we arrived to the time we left, except by Jesus.
