   This is the first time we have had a poor experience at a Ruth's Chris. We went there specifically for the Crème brûlée which they ran out of. Then, once we placed our order the food took a long time even though the place was not busy. The sides arrived luke warm or cold and my steak although ordered medium was well undercooked and cold in the center. After sending them back, the steak then came out medium rare and was sent back again. At that point my wife gave me half of her steak and I told the waiter to just pack it all to go. The waiter was very good and apologetic. Turns out they have new cooks in the kitchen and no GM at the moment per the waiter. We will return, but not before giving them time to get their act together. At that price point I expect better.

   We attended a Far NIente wine dinner this evening and food parings with wine were excellent. The overall experience for the wine dinner was not what we expected. Generally there is a host who will regale you with stories about the winery. The wine rep was a very nice young man but not the level of host we expected at an event like this. Ruth Chris staff gave sparingly pours of wines. However the service for the various courses was excellent. They were not clear about bills but since we had to guarantee the reservation some people left after the last course. We asked about the bill and waited about 35 minutes for it to be processed. Lots of positives, great wine , food was delicious but logistics need some work.

   Our waiter was Brian. He did a great job making sure our water and drink glasses were always filled. He regularly checked on our table to make sure everything was in good order. The food and service were excellent.

    Michael, our server was Great! Knowledgeable, friendly, personable. Made out experience good. This was Easter Sunday, made RSVS 10 minutes before arriving and very accommodating. Seated immediately and service was great. Can not say enough about our server Michael. He is gem.
