Food is excellent. Little expensive.
Service a little slow possibly due to current shortage of workers.
Great restaurant, went with four couples, got round table. Amazing food quality, service and location. We will go back again
Great service and excellent food as always! We were seated next to a loud large party which made it hard for us to hear each other.
Been coming here since the ‘70’s and as good or better than I remember!
The view was wonderful. The rest a bit mediocre. Fish was over cooked.
Reservation for a Saturday night at 5:45. Seated promptly and serve very brought menus and made some great suggestions. Drinks and apps were out quickly and very tasty. Food wad presented very well and the taste was even better. Seated by the window, great all around experience. Everyone was just fantastic. They have yet to disappoint. Will be back again soon.
Excellent place for a special occasion, a dinner with friends or just a date night. The view of the bay is priceless, the food top-notch and the service is good.
Our waitress waived the bottle charge for the wine we brought in. We had an unrushed dinner and excellent filet mignons.
We celebrated our wedding here with a party of 15 people. They were able to accommodate us with no problem. Originally our table was upstairs, but we had a wheelchair bound guest and they graciously accommodated us in another area of the restaurant that felt more like we had our own area. Beautiful views excellent food
Beautiful view, great environment, appetizers and drinks were awesome!
Michele, our server, was excellent - very attentive & friendly. Our food was very good, however, I wish the sourdough bread would make a return. We enjoyed having the sourdough bread with our soup and/or salad, in the past. We don’t like the garlic bread as it’s too greasy with the butter & too much garlic. Why can’t the sourdough used for the garlic bread be used?? RP has always been one of our favorite restaurants and we’re so happy it’s still open for business
Team dinner meeting - great food and fantastic staff with beautiful setting!
The service was exceptional. The food was enticing and delicious.
I have not been here for years, but I will be a regular customer again now. We loved the refreshed dining room, and our waiter was excellent, and our food was delicious.
Thank you for a perfect dining experience.
We have always gone to Rusty Pelican over the years. Do know the menu has changed since covid. Two of us ordered the chicken piccata and it was terrible. You could not cut through the chicken. It was really tough and chicken piccata is usually very tender.
Lovely experience. Will return.
The food was great, and the staff was great. Rebecca gave us recommendations on things to do a round town while on our honeymoon. Definitely worth it if you are in the area and want a nice, romantic dinner.
The server was wonderful, however the unanticipated wait time (had reservations), lack of communication and poor service given by the hostess was a nightmare. If we did not end up with the amazing server, it would have been 1 stars all around.
Especially for the price you pay on drinks, appetizers, meals, you shouldn’t have to try and manage your way around an unhelpful and rude hostess.
Brilliant view, brilliant food, brilliant service! We thoroughly enjoyed soaking in some sunshine at this amazing restaurant!!
Service on the balcony wasn’t like inside…
One of the best restaurants. Service and food is outstanding
The food was amazing! My husband had the surf and turf (lobster and steak). The lobster was excellent and the steak was amazing! I had the sea bass which was also amazing - so well cooked and tender (something I rarely think of when I think of fish). We shared the mud pie for dessert - excellent! The location is awesome. Be prepared to pay a bit more than you might expect for the location and food. Don't worry - it's well worth it!
Brittany was an excellent server, very professional and courteous. She constantly checked on us to ensure we were satisfied. Unfortunately, my steak was severely undercooked.
Rusty Pelican food has always been at the very least excellent with many choices of fish but only two choices available yesterday which were both unacceptable to me. Since the middle of the last century their legendary garlic bread has been well known as the BEST anywhere but this time was average or less. Filet was excellent but medium rare rather than medium and the lobster was large and very good but cold. The waitress did not know how to remove the tail for me. My future recommendation will unfortunately have to be qualified. We still love you RP, for now
food was good. service was okay, looked like they were feeling the pinch of being short-staffed and so, customer service suffered. servers looked worn out.
Food is excellent; service is outstanding;
requested outside dining and although available, outside seating was denied.
Inside was rather too warm and unpleasant-lack of fresh air.
We love Rusty Pelican! Always go when we are in town. Food is so good. We are never disappointed. Best if you have a reservation. Good value for what you get too.
The menu options are plentiful with a variety of price ranges. I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the scallops and shrimp. We also ordered garlic bread for the table and he opted for clam chowder and I had a Cesar salad. Too full for dessert, but the waiter sent us home with some cheesecake as it was our 51st wedding anniversary.
Valet parking is a must, but you could park across the street if you didn’t want to pay the $6 charge.
We have been enjoying your restaurant for over 30 years!!
It never disappoints!!
We had good time! The waitress was very nice and friendly!
Great food and excellent service. The restaurant was a bit crowded but I still got my romantic dinner out of it
For being part of a national restaurant conglomerate, this place seemed like it was on its last legs. The food was sub-par, the furnishings(tables, chairs, carpeting) were all outdated and worn. I specifically picked this place due to its location but also because of the ownership -thinking that i could not go wrong. Major disappointment. I heard about it from my family for the next three days.
This place needs to be shuttered, totally redone or an intervention done by the parent company as it is so very far below many of the other restaurants the company owns. I am totally shocked at how bland the food was, how dirty and worn out the restaurant was and also how we were not really treated all that well as diners. NOT a value for the price points being charged here. Yes, they are on the water but that was its only redeeming quality.
Great atmosphere. Best clam chowder!
We enjoyed the delicious food
And good wine.
Service was okay but timing was off
Almost half done with fish
And wines comes out
Food was great and staff was courteous. Waiter did forget one of my sides but quickly rectified the mistake in only a few moments
We have the best meal with our friends, very relaxing with good food.
The food is good, also the service is good. I ordered swordfish flagship, it is delicious! My daughter ordered steak, it is also very good! Will come again !
Very disappointing as it has been sooooo good previously
Slow, inattentive servers
Served incorrect appetizers
Served incorrect brunch
Waited 15/20 minutes for change and had to get up and see the hostess so we could leave
After paying the gratuity for parking the attendant expected more money when he handed over the keys ???
The good was good !
Everything was lovely
Great, cozy dining experience! We arrived approx. 30 min early for our reservation. We were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. Delicious food!
