GREAT, TERIFFIC, IN ALL WAYS! We went to this Restaurant, for the first time, on 11-23-20, and it was a wonderful American-Pub, dining experience! The Hostess, was pleasant, smiling and welcoming. Our Server, Nancy, was energetic, efficient, and informative! She had a great sense of humor, and bubbly personality. (FUN!) The food choices were eclectic, quality, and well-prepared. We started out with the NEW, Brussel Sprout Appetizer, and it was delicious. We tried the Hoosier-Daddy Tenderloin Sandwich with Onion Rings, and the Magnificent Gourmet Mushroom Pizza, with hand-rolled dough! This restaurant has a nice cocktail, beer, and wine, selection. The atmosphere is cozy, and casual, with low-lighting, is safe and clean, with the set-up. We look forward to going there again. A+ to all who work there!
It’s always a pleasant experience at Rusty Bucket. Social distancing is good, food is good, service is good and the atmosphere is good. A nice cozy neighborhood place. You know what to expect and they deliver exactly that. It’s quiet, too. We always appreciate that.
Very pleasant experience. We went early bcz of Covid. Tables were appropriately spaced which we appreciated. Nice atmosphere. Appreciate the spacing of tables. Service was very good.
It was nice. Would go again.
I thought the food was delicious, and our server was excellent. I have not been to the Rusty Bucket in and few years, but I am not going to wait very long to return.
Great local pub food
We made reservations for 5 and when we got to the restaurant they did not have any reservations or tables available. The hostess just said something was wrong with the internet do they aren’t getting reservations. There were 2 adults and 3 teenagers and they tried sitting us at 2 different tables around the restaurant. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a table for 5.
I ordered the vegan rice bowl and it tasted like pure salt. The kids all got burgers and there were about 10 French fries with the burger. Not worth the money or wait.
Hair in food
Pleasant evening out with family. I would recommend Rusty Bucket for casual dining and good food.
Always a fan of their Juicy Burger & draft Happy Hour specials, so happy that they've reopened for dining inside!
Food always great.
Wish there were more draft beer choices.
The food seemed to have smaller portions than normal. The salad was smaller than what I usually get. The service was good . It did seem to take a longer than usual time to get our food.
Great food, great people snd safe environment.
Go support our local pub.
Our server, Mabel, was excellent. She was attentive without being smothering. We had missed having dinner at the Rusty Bucket. We are thankful it has reopened!
I really appreciate this restaurant especially in this pandemic. My Nickel Salad plus chicken was terrific. The wine was as well. My waitress had some difficulty understanding my order. Overall, a very pleasant dinner.
We love your restaurant, its a great neighborhood restaurant.....Pub. Food and service always great. Keep up the good work, we need you!!
Great food, great people! Great place to watch sports on TV.
We are thrilled Rusty Bucket has reopened. As always, it was a perfect evening with my husband, my sister, and my brother-in-law.
Salad was not cold
Too little sauce on pasta
Really missed going to Rusty Bucket. Great experience. Food delicious, service wonderful! Set up well for social distancing.
The chicken parm is always excellent. I had fish & chips which was good, but a little oily.
There were no condiments on the tables
When we asked the server for some
pepper he brought it.
He indicated they were kept off the table so they could be cleaned before and after each use
Food is always great.
Wish there were other draft beer choices.
Server was rushed food was lacking in quantity especially the fish and chips duaughter order a drink by the time it came she was just about done eating, must have been a shortage of water
Valentines Day dinner. Great service with great food made my family very very happy !!
The food was wonderful and our server was very friendly. We will be going back soon.
The food was awesome! We got the nachos (which are massive), and they were so delicious! Gary’s famous margarita was good too. The staff was friendly, this place is a hidden gem!
Waitress was sweet but distracted or just unorganized.
Had to be reminded of all requests.
Seemed rushed and inexperienced.
Food was great as always
Our table of five all had concerns about the length of time it took to get our food. A little frustrating.
Always consistently great food & service! Our “go to” place for family dinners, game nights & even special occasions!
Never disappointed. Food is consistently delicious. The Rusty is one of our go to restaurants.
Great atmosphere and food
Server (Nancy) had a great attitude and was fun. Steak was excellent and cooked just right! We also had fish and chips, and Rueben. Everything was great. Loved the Nickel Salad too. Wish they had more top shelf Bourbon.
Good nothing exceptional just good
This is one of best kept secrets in town. It’s always clean and the staff is always friendly.
Family night out - have kids - food was good bar food (nachos dang good) - just a hair loud for kids and the like but well done overall!
Ok, I'll make my review at least 50 characters in length.
Portion size was small for an entree salad. Service was ok - not terrible but not remarkable either. Seated quickly with reservation. Kids enjoyed their meals. A bit pricey for quality. Bathrooms were dirty for a restaurant (on par with rest areas).
We usually have a wonderful meal at this restaurant but tonight the French Onion Soup was BAD.
First time there since they changed the menu. $14.49 for a bowl of chili seems excessive since most of it was pasta. Server left a little to be desired; manager had to bring us refills. Louder than normal but that was because of Colts game. Most disappointing visit we have had since started going there.
