Pretty typical sport bar atmosphere with slightly above average sports bar food. The restroom was filthy. No real reason to go back.
Great burgers! Great fries! Great fried pickles! Great atmosphere. We took our 13 year old for her birthday there and it was great. The food was great, and we had a cookies and cream dessert. To die for!
Service and food was very good, didn’t feel rushed even though they were busy.
Waited almost 10 minutes for the hostess to appear. Food was bland. Server was attentive. First and last visit.
I have referred all my coworkers to rusty bucket. Every time we come here the food is always amazing!!
The food is great and the service was memorable!
Able to find a variety of foods on the menu, some healthy not typical bar food.
We really have no complaints except that our server was unwell and told us so. Her voice was all but gone. Aside from having a very hard time hearing her it was all good. Food is very tasty and prices are comparable to similar places. We’ll definitely be back.
Great time Valentines Day dinner. Attentive service, good food and an energetic crowd.
Terrible wait staff. Nasty hostess. Not going back
Decided to take in an early dinner and stopped at Rusty Bucket, 5:30.
When greeted at the front by the hostesses, they asked me if I had a reservation and said no. They said they had a full dinner service but I quickly (while standing in front of them) made a RSVP via Open Table; noticed 5:45, 6:00, 6:15, 6:30, etc. there was enough available tables and seating. We were seated quickly after showing them Open Table app and my reservation popped on their computer.
Our server was okay and the food we ordered was not good. Daughter got the salmon which was okay but way overpriced for the portion she received even though she is child, enough for her but as an adult portion it would have been very small. Son got the standard burger which looked good but he only ate 1/4 of it. I had a bite and it was every bad. A quarter-pounder at McDonalds is better. I got a salad which was par for course; asked for the dressing on the side but it was tossed in it.
Overall, I will not be back nor recommend this place! Sorry...
The food was great, however, the temperature of the place where we sat was a little cold.
I was confused and did not know that Rusty Bucket no longer has brunch, so we arrived early...however, we chose lunch menu and my daughter and I had a delicious black bean burger....
Fast and friendly service and great food. Plenty of tvs to watch games. Lollipops for the kids to help their patience. :) Our server Michael was on it! He is fantastic. The food was great!
Not for the health conscious!
Nachos came out cold but they fixed it right away. Very accommodating for a party of 8 with 4 kids! Good food and family atmosphere. Heavy pour on their drinks :)
AMAZING family dinner night! The new general manager, Mark, has really pointed this place in the right direction. We could not have asked for a better evening. Our bartender (Parker) was totally on his game! He made drinks that were not even on the menu for us! Our dinner was perfect! My pasta, my wife’s steak, even our sons chicken sandwich were perfect! Our waitress brought out our youngest sons pizza a few minutes before our dinner was served so it could cool and he could eat with the family (excellent touch!). All in all, our meal was so good we wanted to compliment the Chef (Sydney). He actually came to the table! Where else can you get that?!? Our sons were thrilled! We took great photos. It was an impeccable family dinner night!! Would recommend to anyone, anytime! Lunch, happy hour, date, family dinner, special occasion this should be your go-to!
The place smelled musty and stale. Floor was so greasy my shoes kept slipping from the bar stools. Even the bar top was either greasy or sticky so touching it left stains on my shirt sleeves. Service was nonexistent and food OK at best. Big mistake to have a business lunch there....or anything for that matter. Sorry
This restaurant is great for what it is, a sports bar that’s a step up from big chain restaurants. If you go expecting something else you’ll be disappointed, but if that is what you’re looking for then you’ll enjoy this place.
Excellent Sirloin Chili and very good service
Party of 11, Chris did nice job of getting drinks, keeping them filled, taking orders and delivering food. Excellent value when you have to feed large group.
All around a disappointing experience, food overpriced for what it is.
Casual American fare with a bit of an upscale sports bar vibe. Thus you get a lot of the common offerings: burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, etc. But it's higher quality than you'd expect, and it fortunately has quite a few options for the health-food conscious. Service was really great, from our server to management checking in on us. Sitting on the patio offered a chance for a little people-watching, since this is one of the few pedestrian-friendly areas of SouthPark.
Our server was very accommodating, food was good, good experience.
This was my first dining experience at Rusty Bucket and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of the menu, especially since I'm a vegetarian. A good experience.
The food was great. We had a burger and the pesto chicken pasta. Both were exceptional. The burger-eater is extremely picky about burgers. Said it was moist and flavorful. Definitely not a cheap cut of meat! The herbs in the pasta were clear without being overpowering. Chicken was tender, without overwhelming. We had the sticky bun for dessert. YUMMY! Great prices on glasses of wine.
Great food, atmosphere and beer selection! Also in a great area of South Park.
If you go for lunch, just let your server know you have a time restraint.
Food was very good.
This was our first & probably last visit. The food was nothing special. We ordered a chicken pesto pasta dish & margherita pizza to share. We were seated in the bar during an off time & asked the waitress about the happy hour specials. She answered in a rather flippant manner. We weren’t at all impressed with her attitude.
2 of my friends and I had lunch on Friday. The food overall was good. I made a reservation but was seated in the bar area. Not sure why. Our server was the bartender she was busy and an not very nice. Her attitude was unacceptable and we will probably not return
Half price pizza was great.! Go for happy hour. The pizza was quite good too!
Great customer service; excellent food. Love the Rusty Bucket
We were looking forward to eating here after a few friends recommended it. The food was ok but not worth the price we paid. There are several similar restaurants in Charlotte that equally disappoint.
Great place with a trendy vibe. Food was delicious and people were friendly. Parking is tricky but there’s a parking garage.
Food just wasn’t very tasty, and I was concerned by the low-ish sanitation score of 92.5. Nice and friendly service and easy place to take kids with some healthy kids options. Wouldn’t return if we were in town.
It was my birthday and my friends and I had a great time and great food. We weren’t told that the Strawberry Shortcake was going to be in a cup so it was hard to share and get everything in a bite since the cake was in the bottom and strawberries piled on top. Other than that everything was great.
I believe there staff could use more training regarding being attentive servers.
Had the happy hour pizza and beer special. Everything was very good.
This was our first time here and we will be going back. We both had the salmon and it was perfect.
Would go again.
