Our out-of-town guests are always impressed with the food and service here. Never fails.
The food was delicious and service outstanding! Great job everyone!!
Excellent day to sit on their deck for dinner and drinks! Excellent service, and the food was perfect. This place is a gem, but very popular, always have a reservation!
Delicious nachos and the food all around was so tasty.
Too noisy. The food was good and decent service
The food was sooo good! It was a little bit pricy, but absolutely worth it. Will definitely be coming back!
the server was very friendly, but the food took an hour to arrive cold... we took the food home to reheat it. as a plus we also had more than two condiments in our refridgerator..
We greatly enjoyed our dinner at the Rustic Goat. The fried cauliflower was amazing.
Service slow probably new wait person, so I want to be fair. Food was okay, not the hype we read about.
Great food! Went on a Monday, highly recommend a reservation.
Great food, terrific service in a beautiful building.
Food good. table ready on time. Table dirty and wiped with soaking wet towel which we mopped up with beer and wine menu. You can do better.
First time here and we loved it! View was great service was absolutely outstanding, had a couple of issues with the food that were immediately resolved and they even comped our desert. Super pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend a visit!
The calamari was very good and they have an interesting version. We really enjoyed the main courses as well, the halibut was my favorite thing I've eaten here on vacation!
My daughter and I wanted a place we could meet up with a cozy environment, specialty dining and prices we could afford. My daughter hit the nail on the head in suggesting The Rustic Goat! Perfection!
Hostesses must've been stressed as I've come here several times before. But my goodness it took them 25 minutes to come to our table after being seated, and I had to go up to them first. Still, delicious as always. I've never had an issue here within 5 years, so I'll chuck it up up a fluke,
Drunken Clams and Sausage, and Hummus Platter. The Only two dishes i eat at Rustic Goat. Occasionally i have the German Chocolate. Theae three dishes are the only reason i go there and rate them so high.
The entree menu is limited ended up ordering just salads and appetizers. Food was prepared nicely service was good. Did not get very much food for the price. Ambiance is lacking. Acoustics in the restaurant are not good too loud hard to carry on a conversation with dinner guests.
Rustic goat always has a bustling lively feel, the food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. I love going here and it was a perfect date spot.
Everything was amazing.
My main, go-to, dish was not being served on this occasion so i tried something new. The steak was disastrous. Rustic Goat is not known for their steaks and i should have known.
IT WAS HARD TO HEAR AT OUR TABLE. THEY COMPED OUR DRINKS BECAUSE THEY NEVER FIRED OUR ORDER AND IT WAS VERY LATE. THEY WERE ALSO MISSING A LOT OF THINGS ON THE MENU - WHICH IS ACTUALLY WHY WE WENT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The food selection is still somewhat limited (bouncing back from the pandemic), but the quality is good, if pricey.
Fantastic food! I love the interior and exterior of the building, its beautiful. Our server was wonderful. If anything be prepared project your voice - very loud environment -- but I will return for sure!!
Friday dinner, great neighborhood restaurant
I really like the Rustic Goat, but wasn't thrilled last night.
First, The good: Food was awesome. Kale salad, pulled pork nachos - both excellent.
The not so good: Very noisy. Annoyingly so. We were seated in upstairs, next to balcony. Hard to carry on a conversation it was so loud.
Also not so good: Had a reservation, but just checking in at the podium was difficult. No one was there for some time. A bit chaotic, with people coming in, pushing past us, asking waitresses to seat them. I know they also handle take out, but someone needs to be at the front full time.
Food was awesome! The restaurant had a great atmosphere and lots of outdoor seating! Server was excellent. The only reason not giving 5 stars is because we had to wait a little more than an hour to receive our food. We still would recommend this restaurant and will be coming back in the future!
I chose the restaurant because of it's outside dining. Our server wore her mask at all times. The steak was to die for and the atmosphere was fantastic.
Wait staff is friendly and attentive and are always on the move. Beer menu has way too many IPA's , not everyone wants IPA, which is 80% of their beers. Calamari was very chewy, which means it was cooked past the two minute threshold which some places do not like to do because of the inability to kill off germs if they are not from a trusted purveyor or not slow cooked for over 20 minutes to pass the chewy and tough phases and regain the tenderness. A piece of advise, if you are going to have calamari on the menu, learn how to cook it properly, if you can't cut it with a fork you did it wrong!!!! IFor the main course, I wanted the Ahi, but they were sold out, so I went with the chicken marsala instead. It was actually one of the best marsala sauces I have had in a long time and I grew up on the east coast eating in italian places every week. The chicken was cooked perfectly and so were the pasta and mushrooms, and the shredded cheese set it off nicely. The only odd addition was golden raisins, not really sure why there were in there. It is most definitely strange to add to a dish that is savory. Maybe it's an attempt to add a healthy angle, but it really didn't detract too much from the dish, I still think it would actually be better without them. During dinner I ordered the honey ale, the only other non IPA, other then the dark beers such as the porter, which I do like, but find a bit heavy while eating. The honey ale was pretty good, not too sweet and was light enough in combination with a heavier pasta dish. Decided not to do dessert this time although they did look good. I will dine here again, maybe I'll get the saki to drink next time.
All went very well
Great atmosphere- loved seating on 2d floor. Great food (Husband ordered Lager and Burger and fries; wife ordered Blackberry brew with Ahi)
The upstairs dinning room with the high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows makes for a wonderful dinning experience.
Feels like your outside!!
The food took a very long time to arrive and we did not see our
Great dinner! The seared ahi was amazing, as was the cacio e pepe pizza. Also, the wine choices were excellent, with the server suggesting perfect pairings.
Really good food...did the nachos for a appetizer..so good that I ate way to many. Burger for dinner cooked just the way I like it! Highly recommend!
Awesome dinner! Everything tasted great and the beer and wine offerings were excellent (something for everybody). Covid-wise, it felt safe and the staff was very conscientious about masks, etc. My son really loved the s'more dessert.
The covid-19 measures were great, and very organized. Highly recommend a reservation due to limited capacity with social distancing. The nachos, as always, were phenomenal! The vegan hummus plate was also incredible.
The waitress didn’t finish taking our order and didn’t refill my friends drink. She wasn’t polite, and that’s not normal for rustic goat. The food was amazing as always.
So happy to have such a great restaurant in the neighborhood!
