We wanted to try a new place for one of our favorites, udon. It was good but nothing to write home about. Love edamame but this one was too spicy and it completely drowned out the garlic taste. Two of my pet peeves: answering everything with 'no problem' and calling us 'you guys' at every opportunity. NOT ok. What are we, 12??? Really wanted to like this place but, sadly, that was not the case. Too many other restaurants in downtown MV.

Really good food. I think we got there during shift change because our server changed in the middle of our dining. All in all, the food was really good and the service was good too. I would definitely go there again!

Pricey but if you like sushi i recommend going. The Feast is perfect for two!

What a great surprise! We tried RumbleFish for convenience on a Sunday night, and were blown away by how great the service and food were. They were working on a new spicy mussels dish that we got to try for free - wonderful taste explosion. I had the sashimi appetizer and the Red Dragon roll - both excellent and notable in that the sashimi was no thin sliver but nice sized slices of fish almost a centimeter thick. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals as well. Prices were a good bit lower than other good local sushi places. We will be back soon!

The sushi was delicious we tried all kinds of new goodies and were very satisfied! the service was very friendly, polite and the ladies were on it. i would definitely go back and recommend this place.

I had a reservation for my birthday here for a large party. None of us had been here before, and it was an overall disappointing experience, especially for my birthday. We ordered our food and it all came out out of order in large gaps between serving, and many people had to wait to receive their food for over 20 minutes, including myself who was served last although I ordered second, even before friends that had come 30 minutes after myself. I also did not order anything that was cooked, so I still don't understand why that happened. It set a really poor tone for the get together. The servers could sense the agitation and one offered to comp the next bottle of soju, but that didn't really appease me because I don't drink. We also didn't order another bottle of soju, so nothing was comped. The upside was that once they heard that it was my birthday, they brought us out birthday dessert and they provided enough for our large party to enjoy without having to fight.

As a sushi restaurant Rumble Fish is fine, nothing amazing about it and nothing really bad. Expect your standard sushi in a small, slightly blue lit restaurant.
