Nestled along Laguna Beach’s scenic Coast Highway, Rumari blends Italian and Greek cuisine in an intimate, coastal setting. Under Chef Braulio Melo, the menu features refined comfort dishes like Bucatini Bolognese and Greek Lamb Chops, paired with Italian wines and inspired craft cocktails.

We’re open Wednesday–Sunday from 3–9:30pm. Enjoy Happy Hour with small plates and drink specials from 3–6pm, followed by our full dinner menu from 5–9:30pm. Rumari is also available for private events—a deposit and food & beverage minimum apply. Call 949.715.7107 for details.

Valet parking is available nearby at sister restaurant Mozambique, just up the street. Complimentary transportation is also offered after 5pm within Laguna Beach or a 5–10 mile radius for groups with dinner reservations. Call to schedule.

The Moussaka was fabulous. The scampi was delicious but the portion was a paltry two shrimp. The caprese salad was fantastic. The lamb chops excellent. The tiramisu was a disappointment.

We dined at 5pm on a Sunday, and basically had the dining room to ourselves. The food was beyond amazing, however the service was lacking; even though we were the only people in the dining room, we had to ask for refills on our drink. Additionally, we weren’t given a dessert menu, and wanted a chocolate soufflé. When, after I asked, another server brought us a dessert menu, we weren’t given told it would take 25 minutes for our soufflé. Since we didn’t want to wait, we declined dessert. However, since we were celebrating our anniversary the server brought us another dessert with a candle. The thought was nice, however he added the cost of the dessert we didn’t order to our bill.

Our service was excellent! The menu is great. The wine list has great choices. The food comes out on hot plates the way food should be served. The variety from meats to pastas and fish and salads is fantastic. We will be going back!

Amazing happy hour. A must try! The restaurant is super cute. Service was great and service was wonderful. We will def go back.

With reservations, our hostess sat us first offered a seat in the bar, then a table in the back where a gentleman laid his cane across and wasn’t moving it. She took us back to the bar, then back to the main dining area and said she had more leverage because it was early (5:45). My pollo de parmigiana arrive in a plate of watery yuck. I will not go back, and I am local.
