This was one of our best visits. The crab cheesecake was incredible. We also had the veal Parmesan and corn and crab bisque. Everything was delicious, and the service was outstanding as usual.

We had a lovely brunch at Ruffinos, our server was excellent, and our food was fantastic. I especially like that we could order half salad portions, and the wedge salad was just how I like it, with cherry tomatoes and delicious dressing in perfect proportion to size of salad. The shrimp and grits was delicious, and hubby enjoyed his ribeye burger with bacon jam so much. My friend had grilled oysters and crabmeat omelette, both said they were fabulous. For my birthday I was given a lovely flourless chocolate dessert with Happy birthday written with delicious raspberry sauce. Hadn’t been here in a couple of years due to a mediocre experience, but so happy we came back. Will visit again soon.

We were a party of five and it was our first time at Ruffino’s in Lafayette. Three of us had steak and it was cooked perfectly to our own specifications. Instead of mashed potatoes, it would have been nice if there were other vegetables or sides to pick from and not place the steak on top of the potatoes. It would have been nice to have the steaks sizzling with a dollop of butter on top. The other two in our party ordered Veal Michael, although the portions were small they said it was delicious. The dessert portions was modest. However I was disappointed with the Sin Cake. My suggestion is to make a chocolate mousse with ice cream and still top it was the raspberry syrup.

We both had the specials and they were fantastic. Service was a little slower than normal and water refills were delayed. But it was still a wonderful meal.

Service was so so... just OK till the end when they forgot our anniversary and our cappuccino... Dessert came first and we tried to wait for the coffee/cappuccino, but were not successful. Oh well. Maybe next time.

This restaurant is my favorite In Louisiana. Food is always Spectacular and this time our service was phenomenal from Charles. I have tried many items on the menu. Veal Parm excellent , veal Michael. Steaks, Seared Tuna all excellent. Apps pork Cheek was like pot roast and better than pork belly. We never have room for desert but will try on our next visit the end of this month.love that they have Caymus and Orin Swift red wine.

Service was awesome. Food was awesome. Don’t mean to give a bad review on noise level. St Thomas More prom was going on and the whole school must have been there. It was great to see students having fun and parents keeping an eye on them. It was loud because of the crowd but it was a good loud.

Another outstanding dinner at Ruffino's. The redfish cedar plank was cooked expertly, the seafood arancini was great and the sensation salad was, well, sensational. The service from Rachel, Raphael and Chris was great and remembering our anniversary was special.

We chose to celebrate a very special birthday at Ruffino's. When we walked in, we were sourly greeted by the hostess (she didn't even say hello or address us at all). It took 25 minutes after being seated at a table for a waiter to show up. Had to remind the staff about the birthday several times (and had denoted the occasion on the reservation on opentable). Nothing special about food and nothing really good to say about the service. Very disappointed as the last time I dined here (about 3-4 years ago), it was wonderful.

Tuna was outstanding. Steak ribeye was overcooked. Potatoes cold. Not what I have come to expect from Ruffino’s. The olive oil for the bread was extremely bitter.

We were seated very close to the kitchen, which is open concept, so it was a bit of a turn-off. Also, one of our bread plates was dirty. It was quickly replaced when we pointed it out, but still expected better at this establishment.

My husband and I drive about an hour and a half to go to Ruffino’s for our out of town date night. Every time we go we have an incredible experience. All around is a 10! The food, the ambiance and the service is superb! It’s funny because the last 3 times we have been we have sat at the same table. it’s now deemed our lucky table. Claire has been our Server 2 times and we love her! When we make our reservation we always choose to sit at a high top in the bar. I love the atmosphere in the bar & we know Claire is usually the server in that area. I’m a retired bartender (20 years) so I know typically the best servers are in the bar. She was pretty busy but we never felt neglected in the slightest. She’s also extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Thank you to Ruffino’s & their entire crew for setting the bar high. In a city/culture where food is at the center of attention Ruffino’s will always be our first choice!

Great food and excellent service. The room is large and open which means the noise level is a little high. Intimate conversation can be difficult.

While my wife and I have eaten at Ruffino's before, it wasn't one of our "go to" places. After last night's supper, that might change. I had the Veal Parmesan and my wife had the Scallops with Brussel Sprouts. The food was very well prepared, very delicious. Our server, Donovan, was very attentive.

There were enough things that went wrong to cause the 3 star rating. The food itself tastes very good and in some cases amazingly delicious - but there were a number of hiccups that for the price, was not acceptable.
