   Arrived for an early dinner and were seated at the counter where we could watch the kitchen. At that time the bar in the back seemed much livelier. I had the home-made pickles (cauliflower, turnip and maybe a shallot), crispy pork belly on a salad with kimchee, and a spinach dip with toast fingers. My partner had a pretzel and burger and we shared apple bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious and the kitchen was fun to watch. Everyone worked together well.

   I love this place. Small but excellent food and beer. We shared a steak after having smaller dishes. Loved the fresh crab cakes!

   The flavor of the food was delicious and the menu had great options. We couldn't have gone wrong. Ruddick/Wood was just the family dinner we were looking for on our last night in the Willamette Valley.

   Don't leave without having the Baked Alaska. Nice atmosphere. We had burgers and fries. Good, but not superior to any others. Cute place, very "Oregonian."

   The food was very good. The four of us had a variety of dishes and all were solid. The beer list was excellent, with a great variety to choose. The service was top notch, attentive and informative without being intrusive. Will definitely visit again.

   Impressive restaurant that has gotten better over the years. Food and service were great and they have a well priced compelling wine list. Like the space and greatly enjoyed the experience.

    We’ve been here twice before and enjoyed it and looked forward to returning. But this time we couldn’t find anything on their very narrow menu that the three of us wanted to eat, so we left after drinks and appetizers and walked down the street for dinner. I think there were only four choices on the entree list (plus the structured Family Dinner). The welcome was warm, the service was attentive and friendly, the ambience is pleasant—but alas, we can’t report on the main dishes.
