   Service was great, our server Alejandro was the best. Food was super delicious ( Roca sushi). Went for my fiancés birthday and they made it special and even added her name to the screen. A bit pricey but worth it will be coming back again!

   Nice place, staff is attentive but not fluent in English. Lots of festive drinks. I stuck with a ranch water and they used fresh lime juice and it was delicious- decent selection or tequilas. We had delicious appetizers- ribeye over guacamole, tuna and ceviche. Homemade tortillas were great! Main course was average. All of us got different things including the Mummy Shrimp that was highly recommended, but the shell was left on, and it was difficult to eat. The ribeye tacos were the tastiest. Not sure I’d go again but I’m glad we tried it.

   Pedí el aguachile de ribe , traía muy poca carne y mucho pepino , porción pequeña de carne y muy picante

   Service from waitress was great! Food was average. However, cook fail to follow our food allergy request. The food allergen end up in our plate, according to the manager it was an accident because the meal we ordered does not contain it. Manager replaced the meal, but we did not even get an offer for complementary meal or discount. There were flies flying around our food the whole time we were there. All the plates and I mean ALL of them were cracked or chipped. Even though an “upscale” restaurant like this one, should not have any of the issues I mentioned, I’m willing to give it a second chance soon.

   The service was amazing, very welcoming place, food was great as well! Usually trendy spots like these are nice for the aesthetic, but the food surprised me! It was great!

   The place is decent. The food was good. The only reason for my low score is because of a deposit they asked for to hold my reservation has not been credited back to my CC as promised. The amount of the deposit was for $100. We were asked for a deposit because it was a Saturday and they usually ask for a deposit on Fridays and Saturdays, I was told. We dined here on 2/08/25, it is now2/26/25. I was assured a week ago that my CC would be credited on 2/19/25. That was after two unanswered phone calls, an email and a text inquiring about my credit being issued. It's hard to get someone on the phone, much less get them to reply to an email and barely even respond to a text. This was our second time here but I don't see us going back there again.

   The service was top notch. Aesthetically very well done. Certain dishes like the octopus was really beautiful, so were the mushrooms. The real stars were 100% the desserts. I’m not a sweets person, so I much appreciated the savory complexity of the flavors (we tried all except the chocolate). The disconnect is the club music set against a sit down restaurant experience. Still, McAllen is becoming a great social scene!

    Why have a projector to display birthday wishes/announcements/ shoutouts if you’re not going to use it for people who clearly are celebrating their birthday at your place. Just complete incompetence and rude. What a joke this place is!
