   We chose Roy’s because of past experiences with the expectation of having some amazing sushi, unfortunately they had no sushi at all. The reason given was labor shortage due to the fires 2 yrs ago. Apparently the work force now lives on the other side of the island and it is too expensive to drive to work. I heard this same story at the Plantation golf course. Very sad.

   Food was excellent but overpriced. The decor was outdated and not elegant for the Kaanapali area. Window seat pads were cracking. Just not up to scale to the other Roy's we have been to.

   We had an amazing meal at Roy’s! We started with their umami flavored calamari steak appetizer. We also tried several of their well curated wines by the glass. Our entrees were both delicious; butterfish and our server recommended macadamia crusted mahi mahi served with two savory sauces.

   We have been living on maui for 19 years. We were giving a gift card to Roys and didn’t have very high expectations. The service was absolutely perfect. It was the kind of service that is rare these days at restaurants. The butter fish was the amazing. Flavor of the fish was mild and paired with a beautiful sauce. Wife had the ribeye and was a great cut of meat. Dessert was delicious. Roys nailed it tonight!

   We are big fans of Roy’s. Koolina is fairly close to our home and is our go to for special date nights! Roy’s Kaanapali didn’t disappoint! Terific service and our meals were very good!!

   Roy’s is a special treat for us whenever we are on Maui. The food was superb. The staff was very attentive. Our server was very engaging.

   We loved our time at Roy's. Our server was fantastic. All of the staff we interacted with was professional & friendly. We all loved our food, and they took special time to care for our 2 y/o daughter. They even brought a nice little dessert for my wife as it was her birthday. Highly recommend!

   It was very nice and the food was delicious as usual. We always enjoy dining at Roy’s after a round of golf.

    OMG...where do I begin. Right from the moment when we walked in we were greeted with the warmest greeting. And our server CINDY was so awesome and very conversational. She welcomed us and congratulated us on our 5 year Wedding Anniversary. CINDY was the best. The food was outstanding and we highly recommend.
