The place is not kept well and the service is lackluster at best. Food was definitely below par so much so that we took it to go and threw it out in the dumpster behind the restaurant. There are far better options to waste time at this restaurant.

My wife and two son's (20's) went and were happy with the meal. I've read some of the reviews on Yelp and I agree that the service is kind of mixed, sometimes prompt and sometimes slow and forgetful. But my family enjoyed the food very much, it's difficult to find a restaurant that a Vegan and a Paleo can eat at and be full afterwards. We'll definitely go there again.

This was my husband's first time at Royal Taj. From the time he entered the front door, he felt like he was seeing old friends. The wait staff also treated him the same. He ordered a special offered that evening. It was fantastic. Since I had been to Royal Taj a number of times, it felt very comfortable and welcoming as it always does. I am always happy to have leftovers to bring home. On our drive home, my husband said he'd like to go back again.

We went to celebrate my birthday and had a great time! Restaurant was only about half full so it was pleasantly peaceful and quiet. The food was fantastic and would have even been better had there been more! I would definitely go back. Our server, Hari, was very polite and attentive!

The staff allowed an obviously disturbed person to sit at a table alone talking loudly to herself using profanity. We were forced to leave. Staff reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and in this case failed. I will never go back there.

Royal Taj has been our favorite Indian restaurant for years. When we went this time there were different people and the food was a bit bland compared to the norm. I hope there aren't new owners and cooks. Normally I would give this restaurant 5 stars, but the food was a bit disappointing this time around.
