Service was outstanding. Food was delicious.
South Austin has very few Indian restaurants. Tarka and Pakwan were disappointments. This is the first one that I really like. Budget friendly. Good ambience. Perhaps the only drawback is the location specially if you are driving from Brodie Lane. You have to drive all the way to west-gate blvd on 290W, take a U turn and drive pretty close to brodie/290 intersection to get there.
Went there for a baby shower. The food & service were great! The even let me bring in cupcakes from outside for the celebration. Highly recommend!
The food was delicious, hands down the best Indian food I have had in Austin. The Chili Chicken was especially tasty. The decor is nice, a bit more upscale than the typical Indian restaurant. The noise level was low, so it was easy to carry on a conversation, which I appreciate.
Our only complaint was the service. On the positive side, our waiter was friendly and pleasant, and quite helpful in explaining the menu items. However, service was slow. It took a very long time to get our check. This seemed to be because our waiter was just too busy. The place was simply understaffed. Perhaps they just came up short handed that night. I will certainly be back for the food.
Decent food. We went late night, service was decent. Food was good too, but nothing WOW. Not bad as Indian restaurants go
I purchased a couple of Groupon vouchers and did not read the fine print. I invited 3 friends to the Saturday buffet and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We shall return for dinner to use the Groupon vouchers at a later date. I really appreciate a great Indian Restaurant on this side of town!
Very good Indian food. I live in nyc and was visiting family and just drive by and stopped. great find! This place had a great selection of food. It's comparable to India and NYC Indian food. I recommend this place!
