Excellent food in a beautiful space. The food lived up to its hype. All six of the people in our party thought that their meals were terrific.

Excellent food. Location was nice. The service was good. Our purpose for visiting was to celebrate a birthday. Do not visit if you are in a rush. I think all food is prepared from scratch so it takes a while to make. Definitely will be back!

We had a good not great meal. It is a very small place and we were seated right next to the kitchen.......so it was noisy. Service was certainly sufficient, but the food didn't overwhelm my Italian wife. I had to use the restroom at one point in the evening, and I ended up having to walk almost a block to the bathroom. Not cool.....not cool at all. Too many other great choices in Little Italy. I was disappointed in the high Google ratings this restaurant had previously received......didn't match up with our experience.

Wonderful meal, great service! A bit pricey, but worth it. We ordered the cheese lemon raviolis and chicken pesto tortellini. Delicious!!! The server was the sweetest and somehow knew my hubby is gluten free and brought this amazing gluten free flat bread to our table. I liked it better than our rolls and I am not a fan of gluten free bread. The gluten free pasta was very good per my hubby. It was nice to have that option at an Authentic Italian restaurant. The arugula salad was very fresh. We will be coming back to this quaint restaurant to try all of the other pasta options!

EXTREMELY loud. Drunk women at bar screaming at each other. Restaurant did nothing except serve them more wine. Wife and couldn’t hear each other. Very unpleasant. Not a chance we’d go back"

I was disappointed in the flatbread with prosciutto and arugula that I ordered. It was a challenge to eat because it was difficult to cut the tough crust or pick up a piece and take a bite. The flavors were nothing special. I came with high expectations because of the recommendation of a friend whose culinary judgment I trust but was dissatisfied with this offering. Maybe I should have tried some other specialty. The service was good and the setting pleasant.

This is an adorable restaurant. The service was fantastic, our waiter was fun and professional. The food and wine, were yummy! There’s a public parking right next door, it’s a bit pricey but not for the area. It was nice to park and walk to the Ocean before dinner. I had the lasagna for dinner and it was amazing. The Grilled artichoke was really good too with fresh olive tapenade! The even was delightful.

It is a small restaurant with maybe 7 tables inside. The night was very cool and they kept the front door open so it was cold inside the restaurant; diners were eating with their coats on. My wife wanted a soup and the server went to check with the kitchen, and told us that white bean was the the special. Just before my entree came out we were notified that there was no white bean soup and that she could have tomato instead, she settled on a salad. I had the arugula salad which was good and the bolognese which was just ok (too sweet for my taste)

No liquor other than beer and wine.
Rather cramped but the food makes up for everything.

Epic in every way. We had 40 people. From the second we walked in the service, atmosphere and food were incredible. The owner and staff were all smiles and good times the entire night. Wine selection top notch. The food...unreal. Octopus was the best I’ve had outside of Greece. The swordfish tasted like it was minutes off the boat. The pasta and lamb also spectacular. I’m not sure how you please 40 people but this crew did it easily and made me look good!! Can’t wait to bring my family back!

I was really excited to try this place but was let down. The lamb was dry and the pea “risotto” was just peas in rice. Pretty disappointing for a $42 plate.... The ravioli was delicious which is the only reason I gave it the stars I did. The place is small and intimate but made for a very loud rather than romantic atmosphere

Octopus appetizer was outstanding. It is their signature dish. This is a rotisserie chicken place & they were out of chicken for 7:30 pm Reservations. What’s up with that. The Shrimp Scampi portion was large and perfectly cooked but heavy on the spices, tending towards Thai heat. Patio seating is noisy. We had a large group behind us. Service was excellent. The Cannoli was scratch made & excellent. The wine list is from Italy and extensive. Overall a good dinner out

The food and service were great! All the dishes were very fresh and you could tell all of the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others. The establishment was small, so if you go during dinner hours, I imagine this place could have a wait. We had a large party on a Sunday afternoon and it was perfect for our group at this time.

I reserve a table by opentable, but when I arrived they told me they didn’t have anything available for the next 45 minutes. I ended up sitting in the bar, near where they put the dirty dishes.

Then, the service is extremely, extremely slow.

Don’t waste your time, pick another place.

It took two hours for us to get our main courses, but they were very good when they arrived. I think the overall experience could have been improved 10 fold had someone acknowledged the delay while we were waiting.

Rovino is always one of our favorite spots. Super warm, friendly and intimate. There are not very many tables so be sure to get a reservation. There is on tip I can give...there is no restroom in the restaurant, you have to go outside. Not a big deal but I always warn people to go to the bathroom before we go:) We have been dining at Rovino's for 3 years not for New Years Eve. The first 2 years we enjoyed the music much more than this year. GO!!

The restaurant was booked to celebrate the New Year.
How disappointed were we...
1. that most of the restaurant is on the street.
2. The toilet is 50 meters away from the restaurant, with the kids it was very uncomfortable, there is also a password to enter.
3. Champagne was brought to us old and exhausted, apologized and replaced.
4. The food was below average quality, the salad had stale vegetables. The kids refused the pasta, it wasn't good at all.
5. The restaurant was cold and completely open.
6. The restaurant is very small.
7. The bill went over $200 for dinner for 2 adults and 2 children, where children and adults were left hungry (bad food).
Extremely not recommend this restaurant!
We read reviews, watched recommendations, but it all turned out to be untrue.
And it cost us a spoiled New Year's family dinner!
