Booked the reservation a week in advance, made sure to note that it was my wife’s birthday. Showed up the morning of just to confirm and was told everything I was sent. I asked if they did any special desert for her birthday and the hostess said she could have the chef make a private cake. I thought that was so awesome of her I tipped her twenty dollars. We showed up that night, and had an amazing server and a good meal. When it came time for desert, the server asked if we wanted anything. I mentioned there should be a cake for her birthday. She had no idea what I was talking about so they called the hostess. She told them I tipped her for a “good server.” First off, why would I tip anyone to give me a good server, shouldn’t everyone be a good server? Second, how would I know the restaurant does personal cakes without her telling me? Since there was no cake, we decided to order the bread pudding. God bless the server because she spent five minutes walking around trying to find candles and then get the cake lit so by the time we actually tried it, it was freezing cold. We took one bite and left it. What did the restaurant do, charge us for it. So your team rips me off for twenty dollars and you charge me for a cold desert we ate one bite off. Six hundred dollars a night resort, two hundred dollar dinner for a great server, a thief of a hostess, a restaurant who didn’t make it right and then served a cold desert.

Excellent. Tasty lemonade cocktail. Enjoyed the vegetarian ravioli —perfect portion size. Surprised they don’t offer dessert, but there’s always fudge just down the road! Came here for breakfast today—the morning sun over the lake—spectacular!

Nice to have the option to eat outside. I do wish there were more options. Felt the pricing for what you get cost more than it should. Feel ever since Covid, the rates have been hiked to take advantage and make more profit.

We had a wonderful brunch of omelets, excellent coffee, and a beautiful fruit bowl. The service was very good and the setting was so beautiful by the windows overlooking the great lawn. I recommend highly!
