                                Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. The only problem with the menu is deciding what to get. We ordered several appetizers and they were all delicious. Our main courses were all super tasty. Shannon (our server) recommended ice cream and warm cookies for dessert. So good!!! But the best part of the evening was Shannon. This woman should be nominated for best server of the year - or decade. She was knowledgeable, really nice and FUN! I wish I had a good excuse to go back to Fargo. This would be my first stop!

                                We arrived on time for our 6:45 reservation and were not seated right away since there were many uncleared tables and it appeared no staff to clear them. We got seated around 7, it took a while for a waitress to come and take our order. For the next 45 minutes we watched her apologize to all the tables around us for the slow service and at 7:45 we left the restaurant, since no food had arrived at our table, not even our salad. They were clearly far understaffed and should not have opened since they were unable to service their customers. Very disappointing experience for our night out in Fargo at what we thought would be a premium restaurant.

                                First off, I have never left a bad review in my life. Second of all, we love Rosewild. Which is why we chose it for our anniversary dinner. I booked this reservation on June 27th for 5 PM. On July 20th, I changed it to 6:15 with no issues. There was a concert in town last night (Hozier) which was announced almost a year ago. We got to Rosewild at 5:30 to have a drink at the bar before. We waited 25 minutes to order (not the bartender’s fault. They only had one working and it was packed). We finally got seated at 6:32. During the hour and 20 minute dinner, we saw our waiter 3 times. We ordered two glasses of wine and got them an hour after being seated. Our appetizer showed up at the same time as the wine AND our entrees. I ordered a ribeye, mid rare. It came well done, brown. Normally I would suck it up and eat it, however, when you’re paying $57 for a ribeye, it should be done right. We waited for our server to come back but after 10 minutes of nothing, we had to call a manager over. We explained what happened and the manager didn’t apologize at all. Just said thank you and that he’ll comp it. We had a babysitter so I couldn’t even get a new order in. I ate the potatoes that came with the meal, so they comp’d me $53 of the $57 meal. Finally the waitress came back and said “I heard we had some issues”. Just an overall mess of an anniversary dinner. My wife’s half-chicken was delicious. The drinks we had were delicious. Everything else was sub-par for what they charge. I know everyone has different experiences at places, and I don’t want to completely s*** all over Rosewild. But it was like it was everybody’s first day working at this fine place.

                                We dined here before a concert, the reservation was rather early to make it to the concert on time. Once sat the server took our order promptly however it took over 20 minutes for cocktails and over 60 minutes for the food to arrive. Once the food came the kitchen had completely forget the apps (ultimately we cancelled them as we got entrees first). The steak was ordered medium well and came out well over done, we did not eat it. The manager did take the apps and steak off the bill, which we appreciated (but also should have been done regardless). While waiting for food 2 other tables got up and left as they had not been helped/served since being sat. For a busy concert night they were very unprepared and understaffed. We will not be back and would not recommend eating here.

                                Food is always very unique and tasty. I do wish they would put more Brussel Sprouts in the side dish vs. nuts, but my husband and I did love the fried cauliflower and fried chicken sandwich (a lot of meat, crunchy/flavorful coating). My only area of improvement for the restaurant would be the service. We have been here five times since they have opened and the service leaves a lot to be desired every time. I do appreciate the waitress checking in with us often, but she would be looking out the window and didn't seem fully present. It also usually takes a while for the food to come out and in previous visits even the drinks, but that doesn't bother me as much as the lackluster service. Again, the food is really unique though, comes out hot/fresh and we always enjoy everything we get. We also have noticed that sometimes we are offered a free dessert if we are celebrating a special occasion and other times we aren't (we always go for a special occasion).

                                A fantastic spot for date nights, anniversaries, or any special occasion. Even for a casual hangout, this place suits all your needs. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is gorgeous—warm, welcoming, and relaxing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It’s also located in a lovely area, perfect if you’re looking to explore or enjoy a nice evening out.

                                Dinner at Rose wild was an absolutely delicious treat! I had the local walleye dish in a spinach cream sauce. It was out of this world, delicious beautifully presented, and lovingly served. I would highly recommend Rosewild! Nice vibe, attentive service and delicious meal & local beers on tap.
