   Very empty restaurant which was odd for a Saturday night. Sound track was a distracting set of Christmas songs. Service was slow (despite empty restaurant) and missed an item on our order. Food was fine but a little uninspired.

   We hit the jackpot on date night. The hostess was kind and helpful, our waitress was genuine and fantastic! I had cod with beet risotto and it was AMAZING. I stole a bite of the beef tournade (sp) and it was so tender and flavourful. The only thing lacking was it seemed like it was getting dated, or old in there - washrooms had dirt/rust in them, and there was a good layer of dust on the sideboard we were seated next to by the window. I was kind of surprised!

   Haven’t been to the Rosewater in years- I won’t go back! The food was not enjoyable at all. All five of us left a good portion on our plates because we all felt the same. Coffee was serviced warm not hot and spilled down the side of the cup. A big disappointment especially given the price point. The restaurant is large and was very empty- now I know why...

   We had the tuna and lamb. Excellent quality of tuna and meat. The chocolate cake was warm and so yum! The overall food presentation was great and so was the service!

   We were greeted by an excellent hostess who took our coats and brought us to our table. The waiter was friendly, and assisted us with our wine preferences very adeptly. For appetizers we got the pan-seared scallops and an endive salad. The scallops were cooked nicely, and served on a risotto bed which was pleasant. The endive salad was very heavy in olive oil and we couldn't taste any pumpkin seed vinaigrette at all - it was unfortunate because it took away from the excellent fresh greens and wild mushrooms that were used in the salad - we didn't have more than a bite or two. There was no fixing this because the kitchen preps their vinaigrette earlier in the evening, so they took it off of our bill instead since there were no other green salad options available from what we could see. Our mains were the beef tournedos and the rack of lamb. We ordered and correctly received them medium rare. The rack of lamb was served with asparagus and a small couscous dish, and the glaze was a pomegranate blend which gave a nice hint of sweetness to the lamb. The tournedos were served alongside some fingerling potatoes with goat cheese and their own glaze, which flavour did not stand out as much as the rack of lamb's glaze. Overall we found the service to be excellent but the food to not match up to our expectations of an upscale dinner out. However, we found that the pricing was reasonable considering the adequate portions and excellent service received. We would consider returning again, but will be continuing our hunt for a restaurant that simply amazes us in both quality and flavour.

   We came to Rosewater for our friends birthday. The food was delicious, however the service was one of the worst experiences I have had. Our server did not check up on us, and we were constantly having to ask random staff for things like drinks, eta of food etc. Our drinks took at least 15 minutes to come to the table, and that’s after the long wait just to take our drink orders. One of our friends meals was not punched in, so she waited over an hour and a half for her meal, and was only comped a drink. It just felt like we were completely overlooked, and I am very disappointed with the experience.

   Staff was extra nice and welcoming Food was good, the duck is outstanding Price was surprisingly moderate ... 1 starter and a main course accompanied with 1/2 bottle Canadian bubble was almost 100cad

   I highly enjoyed my dining experience at Rosewater. The server was great and I received great costumer service. The food was great and we did not wait too long.

    It was a lovely meal in all respects. The restaurant is spacious and equipped for private dinners and groups. Service was personable and very attentive. My wife had beef tournado cooked to her wishes and I had onion soup followed by Cornish game hen. Portions were very ample and the chef is clearly skilled and talented. The staff is enthusiastic about the restaurant's food choices, which speaks well of the team work and quality of food generally. This met our expectations and we would recommend Rosewater.
