My favorite steakhouse, having tried many around the world. Beautiful ambiance, not a chain, with its own character, outstanding service. New York strip was the best I’ve had, perfect char, full of flavor, very tender. Will make side to always visit whenever I’m in Chicago.

Always a great experience at Rosebuds on East Walton. Jay our server made us feel at home and was very attentive with a good sense of humor. Excellent food from appetizers through dessert. Would definitely recommend for any one looking for where the locals go

Old-school steak house with good fish, as most have, and great service. It’s expensive but the quality and attention are worth it once in a while. I’d rather go less often for a really good meal. Some more trendy steak places cost even more and aren’t as good. Be careful if you’re watching your diet. There are some very rich and tempting offerings (Lobster GOT), so share. Sides are big.

Great service & atmosphere-old Chicago style. We split everything & had some left over. Wedge salad was great, cowboy steak was average in flavor. There are a lot of steak houses in Chicago-not sorry we went, but unsure if we would return for steak.

A little slow to get us drinks when first arrived but waiter said some staff didn’t show and he was working extra hard to take care of a number of people. But once started, what an experience. Oysters tasty, filet delicious and veal piccata over the top. Wish we had gad time for dessert. Will definitely Be back.

Find somewhere else to go. This restaurant was right next door to the Drake Hotel. I made reservations in advance because I was entertaining a client and it was close by. Chicago had many options for food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The lamb chops were ordered medium rare and they were burned to a crisp and swimming in a very unappetizing brown sauce. No garnish. Nothing. The mushroom side dish was just ok.

The food was delicious at Rosebud Steakhouse! My steak was cooked perfectly and was nice and juicy. Our server, Chris, was excellent. He was very personable, accommodating, funny, and shared interesting, random facts or experiences he had. If you dine at Rosebud, request to have Chris as your server. You won't be disappointed!
