We loved the fact that we could eat outside, and we loved the service we received from our server. However, there was a table next to us with four very loud women, and it was difficult for the four of us to hear each other at our table! Obviously not the restaurant fault, but it did affect our rating. As for the food, my friend ordered the lamb lollipops and took one bite and didn’t finish them because she thought they tasted strange. My pasta dish was very mediocre. I’ve had it at other restaurants and I was looking forward to having it last night, but it was so blah that I only ate about a third of it. My husband enjoyed the sausage with his spaghetti and meatballs, but thought the meatballs were just fair. The drinks were good! Sorry I could not give this a higher rating because it was my husband’s birthday and we were looking forward to last night.

The portions of our entrees are supersized. From the appetizers to the main course the food was delicious. And the service was exceptional.

The food was absolutely wonderful. The Cavatelli 8-finger pasta and chicken parmigiana was incredible. The portion size is perfect! We come here every time we are in Chicago.

Great food and service! Our server Alexa was wonderful. She was super friendly, knows the food and wine menu well, and carefully explained all the specials and if we could split items. The food was fabulous! I had the Seabass Piccata, it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the Orecchiette with Italian sausage and broccolini. It was fabulous too. All the portions are huge. To sit outside under the awning in the summer is divine! The manager came by to check on us. He said the cook has been there for 18 years! It feels like a family run restaurant. I love it there!

We had a fantastic 49th anniversary dinner at Rosebud on Rush. Our waiter was very attentive and complimentary of our years of marriage. The food was delicious. We will be back SOON!!!

We had a family dinner, including young children. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everyone at Rosebud was friendly, and went above and beyond making our evening enjoyable

I had high hopes going in and we were seated promptly before our reservation time. When it came time to order, I had decided before we even got there, to order their “house specialty”, the brick chicken. When I tried to order that, the waitress made me feel like I should get something else because it takes so long to prepare. Why call something a House specialty if your servers are discouraging patrons from ordering it? I ended up ordering it and the food was spectacular. With tip and tax we spent close to $500 for two adults and three kids. Food is great, ambiance is great, but we felt rushed from the start. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We probably won’t recommend it to anyone.
