Service was very attentive and helpful given this was our first time. Food was very good. A son Mill grits could have been a little hotter. I would make reservations it’d you want to go during prime time. This looks like a local favorite. When most customers know the waiter’s names.
Consistently good food, an attentive server this time, and pleasant environment. Rooster's is always a good, albeit pricy, option.
A sweet ambiance and great service but food is very underwhelming and overpriced. Don’t go here save your money.
Our waiter was good but seemed very distraught and overwhelmed. He was very young and just seemed out of his comfort zone or stressed or something. He was serious. In the very end he seemed a little more lightened but yeah, poor guy seemed to be taking his job a bit too serious. Other than that, fantastic!
Roosters is one of my favorite restaurants but last night was different, when you’re not seated in the main dining room, the ambiance is very lacking and disappointing, the service was slow, one of my favorite sides, the butter beans, were under cooked. So only 3 stars for this dining experience 😖
Rooster’s is always solid. Prices have ticked up a bit which puts it into a bit of a different category so I hold it to a somewhat higher standard.
We hadn't visited our friends at Rooster's in a few weeks so we decided to stop by for a Saturday lunch. They've added a very nice deck out front so we enjoyed our sandwiches and drinks outside, which was lovely. Service was perfect as always. See you guys again soon!
Great service, great atmosphere- just a fun evening out with great food to boot!
I love Roosters! It’s one of my go to places but they recently
changed their shrimp and grit recipe...
Now don’t get me wrong... it was still excellent, but it went from the absolute BEST shrimp and grits in town to ok.
Everything else was perfect from the service to the drinks!
As always I highly recommended despite the S&G changes.
Went there with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. The service was poor as the waitress was not very attentive. Ultimately we did not even have dinner as we were too frustrated and simply left. Having eaten at the Roosters uptown we thought the service and food would be comparable. I would not recommend this location but would recommend the one downtown. Very disappointed.
Great atmosphere! Wonder food!
I had the fried oysters and t. he spring salad...The Oysters were wonderful, and the salad was good, it was very fresh. My friend had the pizza with pesto and she loved it. Out wait person was kind, efficient, and not intrusive. Always love Rooster's
It was our first time in and our server made excellent recommendations. We had a great night!
Food was great. A few dishes weren't as warm as we think they should have been. Manager wasn't as friendly or helpful as we would have expected. Server was super friendly but seemed a little overwhelmed.
Always a sure thing. Delicious!
Always a privilege to dine at Roosters on Morrison. Attentive wait staff and watchful management who enjoy assuring patrons of a well-run restaurant. All the Noble family of restaurants consistently deliver a great meal at a fair price.
Celebrated joint anniversaries with friends of ours. Great way to catch up after isolation.
For the first time ever, we had an issue with one of our entrees. My wife's salmon was perfectly cooked. My sirloin steak, ordered to be cooked medium-rare, arrived rare. I decided to eat it anyway even though it was luke-warm. I should have asked for it to be cooked further but did not and that was my fault. The staff have always been very accommodating and our waiter was excellent. I'll know better next time. We still think Rooster's is one of Charlotte's best restaurants.
Very nice service
I will start by stating that I am a long time patron of Rooster’s and that prior to Mother’s Day, every visit has been great. We booked Mother’s Day dinner and it would have been helpful to reference the prix fixe menu in the reservation confirmation. While I’m not opposed to prix fixe generally, the menu selections were not all that great. All appetizer options were chilled and mediocre at best. We tried two of the dessert options and both were just okay (hard brown sugar biscuit and lemon olive oil cake not so good). The entrees were the best course but at $55 per person for 5 people, we were not thrilled. We actually added a couple of the normal a la carte items they allowed us to order from the dinner menu to fill in. It would’ve been great if the prix fixe items included normal menu items with some additions. I will go back to rooster’s but not for Mother’s Day dinner.
Wife’s birthday. Food was good but our service was very disappointing. My brother got his Caesar salad (appetizer) about ten minutes later. Our server seemed to pay very little attention to our table while focusing on the table next to ours which caused him to take our orders wrong (burger cooked wrong, ordered Mac and cheese and he wrote down rice and my wife’s short rib was warm at best) and miss filling our drinks etc. And nevertheless we were the table that gave him a $100 tip. Beautiful dining area in the atrium but I don’t know that we would go back.
Excellent dining experience. The food was delicious!! Great service from Megan!
all good... great service - food was very good, staff was prompt and polite
Great food. Great service. Especially enjoy eating at the bar.
Our waiter was amazing. He was attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and we were stuffed!
We love the creativity with wood fired cuisine . Super ingredients.Great wine list at a very reasonable price.Nice atmosphere but you must like roosters
We love roosters. Our service was a bit slow. Server kept forgetting to bring our wine and setups. But we recognize they were extremely busy for a Wednesday night and she was doing the best she could.
Wonderful as always!
Always delicious, always special
Ordered the $18 scallops. 3 small scallops and some micro greens. This was not an entree
Delicious food and great service, as always!
Always a great time. They were out of both entrees I wanted but the food was still delicious.
Always love Roosters.
Make early reservations the food was good but half of our order was sold out and found out after we made our choice! Service was good and food that we settled on was very good but sad they ran out of wants we wanted to eat!
Excellent! I love Roosters!
Food itself was mediocre..our server was awesome and the vibe and ambiance was great ! Probably would still come back ! Staff as a whole was very attentive
