I booked the Yes/No Morgan experience to celebrate my wife's birthday with a couple friends. While I took advantage of the offer to book a room at a reduced rate, I'm going to review that separately.

Arrival - The entry lounge was nicely decorated, and the hostess that greeted us / checked us in was both informative and delightfully immersive. This being a contactless experience, they take excellent care to make sure you have everything you need and know everything you need to before being shown to your room. The only time you are with "other people" (remember, this is a covid-friendly experience) is in the entry lounge area, and parties are well-spaced. Mask policies were very politely but firmly enforced.

Dining Room - The room used for the dining area was small, but not cramped - very personal feeling. There is a supplied soundtrack via Spotify for the event, so if you don't have Spotify I recommend downloading it prior to arrival. It's relatively easy to use your phone to connect everything. We had a minor tech glitch (speakers were accidentally turned off in our room), but otherwise it was a nice touch.

Food - The food was excellent. There were some well-prepared classics, as well as some inspired creative foods/touches that were delightful. Dessert was probably the most uninspired part, but at the same time (we had the cocktail package) drinks were absolutely wonderful in execution, compliment to dinner, and stand-alone flavor.

Adventure - If you're into history, there's some fun background on Mr. Morgan, and it can all be set up chronologically. Really helps you see him develop as an individual. The puzzles themselves weren't at all difficult; if you walk into this with an escape room mentality and you've done that sort of thing before, you can rip this apart in a handful of minutes. I recommend just letting the dinner's "puzzle" portion run its course.

Overall, a great way to get out and have a safe, well-curated dining experience.

The idea behind the Yes No Morgan experiance was excellent, but for the cost with the wine and cocktail package it was not worth pricetag.

They had a special dinner experience based on JP Morgan and his relationship with Hartford. We had our own hotel room for our dinner. I won’t give the secrets away but it was a lot of fun. It was great to eat out and felt very safe. No one entered our room. The three course meal was excellent. They accommodated my needs with no issues. The salads were fresh. I loved the crabmeat encrusted sole and my husband loved his short ribs en croute. The brownies and cookies were also delicious. A great birthday dinner for him.

I loved this dining experience. Every detail was thought of and every measure was taken to make this an enjoyable and safe experience - from a Spotify playlist to accompany our meal to individual bottles with premade cocktails already in the mini fridge. Wow!

We had a wonderful time at the Yes or No Morgan experience. It's not much of an escape room, but it was a great dinner with a couple fun/easy things to solve. I was so bummed that a wedge salad was our first course - my least favorite salad; however, it blew me away. Every course was wonderful (especially the beef Wellington) and I loved the complimentary drinks. They were very different and fun. We've been avoiding eating inside any restaurants, but this whole experience felt very safe. Once we were in our dining room, we didn't see another couple or even the person bringing the food and clearing the plates. We ended up not eating the shortbread cookies until the next day since we were stuffed by the end, but they were lovely with coffee the next morning.

If they do a similar experience, we will certainly sign up.

Very unique experience and very creative use of the case in the COVID era. Great food and the mystery definitely added to things. A bit on the pricy side, but without much else to do was a great distraction and a fun night out.

this was a fun interactive evening spent with friends. The story line was fun and engaging, our encounter with Emma who introduced us to the events of the evening, and engaged with us during the evening, if the guest located the clue was enjoyable
the meals were exquisite and the beverages of the era were lovely

thank you for a great, memorable evening

It was great - having never did an escape room I first felt it was lacking in the prompts/clues - we were both lost with the clue/story
But others told us that was how it was probably supposed to be

Otherwise everything was great ‼️

What a fantastic experience! I had high expectations going in, but Yes or No Morgan met or exceeded it all. The mystery was not too hard, not too easy. Blended in really well with the menu. And the food itself was delicious, in particular the cocktails. Highly recommend an Uber (or just get a room at the Goodwin) so you can drink to your heart's content and not have to drive.

Best date night we’ve had in a long time! Loved all the little details. The drinks and dinner were amazing. The only disappointment was dessert. For the price, I assumed we’d have a nice dessert. I was a little disappointed by the cookies. The actual “dinner theater/escape room” idea was great in concept, but didn’t really pan out. The “clues” didn’t really lead to anything and it was definitely not as interactive as expected. Felt a little like we paid for an event but really spent $175 each for dinner and drinks. However, we did really enjoy the room, music and main meal and the drink selection was so worth it.

I don’t know where to start... we did the “yes or no morgan” dining experience in our own private dining room. The food was amazing. The mystery is a little too easy to solve, but fun enough anyway!

We had the short rib Wellington (delicious!) and our friends had the vegetarian option. The cocktail package was a nice add on and they were superb. The cookies at the end were the most amazing cookies ever.

We had a vegan and a mushroom allergy and they were very accommodating.

This was a special JP Morgan Experience. You solved a "mystery" throughout a three
course meal that was delicious. We included a cocktail package that certainly added to the fun, as did the soundtrack that we added from spotify. So there were clues and dancing and laughing! The best part was it was just the two of us in the hotel room transformed into a private dining room. This was a covid aware event, but I would do this again in the "after times" (not a big people person)

Very unique immersive dining experience which combines elements of dinner theater and escape room games with a lovely tasting menu catered by local celebrity chef Tyler Anderson. This is a very covid-friendly dining experience with essentially “no contact” yet the experience is cleverly designed to ensure that the dinner courses are paced appropriately and guests are provided with a luxurious experience from start to finish (and beyond). The portions for the meal and cocktail service were generous. For the mains we selected the short rib Wellington (excellent) and the chicken gallantine (very good). The private room was cleverly redesigned to accommodate the experience.
