Rooftop in Walnut Creek offers a stunning view of Mt. Diablo while providing creatively prepared new American cuisine. Owners Jim and Jennifer Telford, along with partner and Executive Chef Justine Kelly offers guests a beautiful outdoor lounge for dining out with friends. Besides the picturesque surroundings that also showcases downtown Walnut Creek, Rooftop has a living wall with lush greenery and water features. Guests can feast on black cod wrapped in a banana leaf with pea shoots, lamb meatballs or other flavorful plates. Delicious desserts, fresh salads and bar bites will also satisfy the appetite. With mentions in publications like Diablo Magazine and California Home Design, Rooftop is a wonderful location for a business lunch or a romantic evening out with a date. Join us for a memorable weekend enjoy the best views of the city! For parties of more than six guests, a food and beverage minimum spend of $50 per person is required. On Fridays and Saturdays, we can accommodate up to 12 guests per reservation. Please note that table dining times are limited to two hours. Many of our tables are high-tops with backless chairs; if this seating arrangement doesn’t work for your group, kindly request accommodations in advance. We offer a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you anticipate being more than 15 minutes late, please give us a call. Seating and location are subject to availability. A 20% service charge will be applied to your bill. (Please note: our full dinner menu is unavailable after 10 PM) We look forward to welcoming you!

It's has a nice ambiance, great food and drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. The menu offers a diverse selection, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. Everything was well-presented, and the atmosphere was both cozy and elegant—perfect for a relaxing evening out.

The rooftop view was great! The menu selection was wonderful and the food and service were fantastic! Highly recommend!!

This was my 2nd time here for dinner. Short ribs and sea bass were excellent, though the accompanying starch for the short ribs wasn't too exciting (would have been nice to have some other options like rice). Tuna tartare good and arugula citrus salad decent. Wine pours were very reasonable at the price per glass. Service was very good and the view from outdoors is a winner. Didn't like the set 20% tip (I get the need to recruit staff, but that's very high) and Rooftop needs to make sure all outdoor heaters are working. The lack of one large outdoor heater made for a dining experience that was unexpectedly cold.

Servers were excellent! It was very breezy inside. Food was good but very small portions and way too expensive.

Great views sitting on the patio! Server recommended the peach mule, dumplings, short ribs, and butter cake. Great recommendations and would order the exact same again.

The restaurant was very attentive. The short ribs were excellent, and the Seabass was exceptional. I would highly recommend.

Always enjoy going to Roof Top, drinks are great and the food is never a miss. The staff is always very attentive.

Really disappointed in the extra 20% automatic charge on Memorial Day? What you're saying is you expect at 40% tip because it's the weekend or a holidlay? That's just crazy. No one said anything about this until our bill came. Very deceptive. Won't return because of this even though the food was good. We are all worried about money, how about you pay your employees more so the customers don't pick up the tab.

The food comes out from the kitchen kind of slow although at the time 6:30pm not that very busy

Thought the view was different not horrible however the heaters could’ve been turned up. Waiter was Very nice and bubbly. Drinks were cool as well 7/10
