The setting is the real value here. Very cool space that would be amazing in the summer with the roof open to the sky. The falafel flatbread was the most interesting of the three plates we shared. Probably would come back but for some fun cocktails and leave dinner to someplace else.

The space is super dark and was pretty loud. If you're into that, great, but I was trying to catch up with some friends after work and we ended up shouting our conversation. Food was pretty good although the paper thin pizza crust was a disappointment.

The waitress was pretty uninterested in serving us and the food was extremely salty. The food was just okay given the price. Beautiful restaurant with beautiful view, everything else was not worth it. I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again but maybe for a drink. Though their drink list was lacking as well.

We went as a family with kids (tweens) because we were staying there. The food was good, the service was good but it’s really meant to just be a bar/nightclub. Even though we made reservations we were seated on a couch and had our meal there. It was fine but not really a traditional dinner place. They serve full dinners so the message of what type of place it is is a little confusing.

Went for dinner and had to eat the bone-in chicken we ordered off low coffee tables ; the food listings were very deceiving in that they were very small bites or large pieces of meat you had to eat with fingers ; food was not memorable at all and not worth the high prices; the drinks were nothing special and pricey and only a couple wines that are not good; the view was nice but so
Is the Hancock tower ! It is a bar that’s it ! Enjoy a great dinner at the many options in Chicago !! But not at this place :/

I have been to the rooftop at the Wit before and it never disappoints. Good atmosphere. Noise level is not too bad. Food and beverages are good, but a little pricey. Would have been nice to hear holiday music considering the time of year. I will come back and would recommend it.

Great view. Great service. Too noisy for a conversation but great fun.

Booked a party of 5 for 9pm on a Wednesday which was pretty slow at the time. They wanted to seat us in the center but my gf wanted a window table. The host was very accommodating (and patient while my girlfriend had some requests) and allowed us to pull up a chair and sat us by the window. Thank you for that! We wanted a better view for our guests (which are in town from Mexico.) Our server Andrea was very knowledgeable on the menu and welcoming when we arrived and made some great drink recommendations for our party. However, there were a few downsides to our experience. After a round or 2, she stopped checking back as frequently as we needed. A few of us wanted at least 1 or 2 more drinks that she wasnt there to order. I've been in the industry for a 9 years so I notice small things, which i tend to ignore for the sake of having a good time, but when the bussers walk by and stare at the collection of at least 10 empty glasses I neatly placed at the edge of our table and pretend to not see them, it was getting frustrating. I mean I clearly watched the older gentleman stare directly at the empty glasses, then at the women at our table, and continue to walk past us. To top it off, I'm not sure if 20 percent gratuity is automatically added to parties of 5 or if our server assumed 5 mexicans wouldn't tip appropriately but our bill was over $250 without ordering food and frankly It's almost insulting. Given better service, I would have made sure to leave better than 20% but to add it without giving proper service is very unfair. Overall the place was great, drinks were great, music was great. Service... not so much.
